TAM-3 filter mineralizer
Awesome filter! Changes the taste of the water from a dry/acidic taste to genius bottled water goodness. I love not having to lugg bottled water upstairs to our apartment! To all the reviewers and others, including myself, yes the lid is HARD to get off! When you get it off, or preferably on first installation, put Vasoline directly on the threads. I also struggled but when I applied Vasoline to the threads each replacement has been much easier. No leaks on mine either 😉

Good filter with a long life.
Going on second year of this filter now and finally just decided to change the filter. Pretty good that they do last an entire year. As others have noted, it is quite difficult to unscrew the top from the filter body. I had to put my filter body in a vise to hold it while I used the wrench to loosen the top. This was after trying all holds - hand grip, under armpit, stepping on it.. Nothing could keep it steady. The vise made quick work.

Great replacement solution
I was initially skeptical because of the other reviews, the installation wasn't too difficult, with no leaks or anything, you do need to have the supplied wrench that originally came with the RO system otherwise you will have a hard time replacing this. A quick tip, I used an exercise band around the outside of the filter while using the supplied wrench to get a good grip, it made it so much easier.

Good value filter
it fit well and easy to install, not able to feel obvious different on the flavor from my 2 years old filter that its replacing. However the water flow did increase significantly(30% -50% increase)

Doesn’t Work (not like replacing a lightbulb)
It’s impossible to unscrew the cartridge to replace the filter because the replacement nor my Frizzlife RO system came with the necessary wrench. So I’m stuck with a $30 part I cannot use. ***Update 11/1/2022*** Frizzlife contacted me and assisted with the correct part. It’s very rare to find such good customer service these days so I’m increasing the rating. Make sure you have the proprietary wrench before ordering this item.

It is not possible to remove used cartridge
I've got new cartridge but was not able to unscrew top of the container and replace the cartridge as a result. Tools are not useful at all as well... A day after I've been contacted by Frizzlife customer support and they offered to send me new replacement kit. I'm changing my review rate to 5 stars due to immaculate support.

Impossible to use
This filter cartridge is useless, as it is impossible to use the filter assembly.

Es ist nicht der erste Filter, den ich gekauft habe, und wenn ich den alten Filter gelassen hätte, wäre es besser gewesen. Leider ist dieser Filter schlechter als Nummer eins. Ich reinige den Wasserkocher einmal pro Woche, weil er voller Kalk ist
