Squeezy Freezy Instant Slushy Maker Ships in Random Colors

I don't understand why so many people claim it does not work. I bought my little sister (12 year old) this for her Christmas present. At the time it was only $11!!!! I noticed it was only 3 stars, but I took the risk. She was so happy when she opened the present, and she put the Squeezy Freezy in the freezer right away. We left it there overnight and the next morning, we tried it out. I told her, "Don't be too disappointed if it doesn't work, it's a 'as seen on TV' product, and people have said it doesn't work." Lo and behold, it worked! She was grateful. She still uses it all the time. She just leaves the Squeezy Freezy in over night and only leaves it out of the freezer if she's using it. Some people claim that it does not work, but indeed it does. It takes at least 20-30 seconds each cup depending on what drink, temp of drink, and how much of the drink we put in. It at first seems like it doesn't work, but it slowly turns into a slushy if you keep squeezing it. You have to let it sit for a minute before you start squeezing it to cool the drink down a bit. It's a great gift for anybody! Some people say they found mold inside of their Squeezy Freezy. I personally think that it is because somebody has previously owned that Squeezy Freezy and did not clean it well (which is nasty at the fact that they would even sell used cups). Maybe I'm wrong and it's just the solution going bad, but it's weird that only some people have it. Honestly, just buy this, it's definitely worth it!

This thing is a joke. It arrived in typical Amazon fashion. Carefully packaged and ahead of schedule. Absolutely nothing tp complain about there. The dissapointment began the next day. After placing it inthe freezer for more than 20 hours and filling it with soda chilled in the bottom of the refrigerator for days, I screwed on the lid and let it sit for 5 minutes. I then began to squeeze as per the instructions. After 10 minutes of constant motion the soda remained unslushied.I have tried this thing in every combination of drinks and freezer positions and times I can think of and the result is ALWAYS the same.A drink slightly warmer than when I started. Avoid this product snd find something that actually works.

Im puttin 3 stars to this products, bacause i ordered two of them, but only one freezees completly, the other one just gets really cold but doesnt work...

I bought this product on a Monday, it arrived 3 days later on Thursday, and now it's Saturday.Thursday: I just bought this product and I was in a rush to see if it worked, so I skipped washing it and just stuck it in the freezer for a few hours. Needless to say, it did not work, so I put it in the BACK of the freezer (I read in a comment it works well if you put it in the back)Friday: It's been freezing over night and my drink (Arnold Renolds lemonade/tea half and half) has been in the fridge and is now very cold. I got my drink out of the freezer, poured my drink into it, and once again, it didn't work. I went back to grav3yardgirl's review and realized I completely forgot to wash it. So, I put it in the washer, then once it was done I put it back in the freezer once again.Saturday: It just came out of the freezer, so I poured my drink into it AGAIN, started squeezing it - AGAIN - and AGAIN it DID NOT WORK. So, I will be washing it by hand this time, and I will try again tomorrow (Sunday.) I lost the packaging so I can't return it, therefore I will keep trying until I get decent results, IF I get decent results.As of right now, I don't reccomend this. If you're going to get it, get it in a physical store (like wallmart) maybe you'll have better luck then. Just remember, whatever you do, make sure you have an open option to return the product. This was NOT work $30.

I received one of these magical cups as a birthday present and immediately stuck it in the freezer in preparation for an iced coffee the next day. I followed the instructions carefully, mixed up my coffee [with half-and-half and simple syrup] and poured into the cup. I let it stand [probably for longer than necessary, but I wanted to give it the best chance to work] and then squeezed the sides as instructed. LO AND BEHOLD, IT SLUSHIED MY COFFEE. I've used it several times since, always with fantastic results. It is magnificent, and I highly recommend these to everyone. The hand-washing part can get annoying, but I understand the reasons. You don't want those salt water pouches to start leaking! And anyway, you can put all the hard plastic in the dishwasher, so it's really only the two things to clean by hand.
