[EDITED] well thought out, solid device
[EDITED]: I now have both of the 4-port versions: mirrored and extended desktop.Product: 4-Port Extended: I'm in love with this device. I work from home and have a company laptop as well as a tower PC for my personal use. I use extended desktop on both. For years I've tried an array of methods to make switching between my devices easier: using different input methods for each monitor, dual KVMs (one for each monitor), or simply going without the second monitor.Over the years I had seen a few different KVM products on the market that could handle dual-monitor, extended-desktop, but all of them had big price tags and less than glowing reviews. This product was made to fill the gap. The price is attractive and it doesn't have any of the issues I've seen reported with more expensive dual-head KVMs.The switching is instant, it works great with a wireless keyboard/mouse combo, you can customize the switching method, and it comes with all the cables necessary to hook up 4 computers. From the packaging to set up and use, this product was well thought out. With all the cables coming out the back of the unit, it makes for a much cleaner desktop. Thanks CKL!Product: 4-Port Mirrored: Before buying this product I asked a question about whether or not it supports extended display. There was some confusion on both sides about what exactly that meant. In hindsight, I should have realized without dual inputs, there's really no way to support extended desktop. And looking at the configuration of cords, there's only one HDMI cable going to/from each PC to the unit. After doing some searching on google, I don't see any method of splitting output from a single HDMI output to two monitors for anything other than duplicated display. After my purchase and initial review, the manufacturer contacted me and was very helpful in getting me a product that meets my needs. If you're looking for a KVM that does duplicate display, I highly recommend this product. It comes with all the cables needed to support up to four computers. It's well thought out and you can configure the hotkey amongst other things. The manufacturer was very helpful. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. Some of the issues I've seen in the reviews of other related products are: LEDs are too bright, wireless keyboard & mouse (operating off of a single USB) don't work well, and poor video quality. I've not experienced any of those issues with this product. So far my favorite feature is the ability to use the mouse for switching between computers. If what you want out of a dual-head KVM is duplicated display, then this is the product for you. If you want extended desktop, where you can send two separate video feeds to the KVM device then your options are currently somewhat limited in the HDMI area of the market.I'm changing my initial review to 5 stars, due to the quality of the device and the responsiveness of the manufacture to resolve my issue.

A Good Solution For Working Remotely (Extended Display)
I bought this product so I could re-use my desktop setup when working from home. There are two HDMI connections for each machine; one HDMI cord splits into an octopus on one end to provide connections for HDMI, USB, AUX, and MIC. After buying a few display port adapters for my laptop, I was up and running.A few noteworthy observations:- Double clicking the middle mouse button changes ports on the KVM as a "hotkey", this takes me by surprise most of the time since I use the middle mouse button frequently for software development.- My particular unit produces a small hum (extended display version).- Changing ports makes a super loud beeping sound. This can be turned off with a keyboard shortcut - [Right Ctrl] [Right Ctrl] [B] [Enter].

Working Great with Two MacBook Pros! CKL-944HUA
This review covers the 4-port Dual Monitor Extended Display KVM SwitchI'm giving this KVM switch 5 stars, but I do want to give a heads-up that I needed to install USB Overdrive (shareware) on my MBPs to get it running 100%.I bought this KVM switch to replace an older IO Gear KVM switch. The IO Gear was DVI and only supported one monitor. I've been running with dual monitors and manually switching the inputs on the extended monitor so I figured it was time for an upgrade. Shopping around, I found the prices for KVM's that supported dual monitors in extended display mode ridiculous...Then I found this CKL-944HUA KVM Switch!! Wow!! A fraction of the price of its competitors - great, solid build - and it's working perfectly! I'm running it with a mid-2015 MacBook Pro, a 2018 MacBook Pro, a Lenovo Thinkpad, and a Dell Inspiron desktop. It switches flawlessly between all of them.I did have an initial issue with my MacBooks (surprise, surprise). Everything seemed to be working right out of the box, so I was thrilled - but then I quickly found out that my mouse clicks were not working (I tried 3 different wired mice).I contacted the CKL support and they gave me two suggestions:Try the CTRL+CTRL+L hotkey (not sure exactly what that enabled/disabled). It "worked" in that I was able to click - so again I was thrilled - but then quickly realized that I couldn't click AND drag! lolSo, on to the second suggestion: Install "USB Overdrive" - a well known piece of software that is a "device driver for macOS that handles any USB or Bluetooth mouse, keyboard, trackball, joystick, gamepad or gaming device from any manufacturer and lets you configure it either globally or on a per-application, per-device basis."USB Overdrive is shareware - $20 if you want to play fair - but worth every penny. IT WORKED!With USB Overdrive installed everything is working flawlessly with my two MBPs and the KVM Switch. Super smooth hotkeys (with several configuration options), fast HDMI switching, and no audio, mic, keyboard, or mouse issues. It just works! If you're familiar with the 2018 MBP, you know it's dongle hell!! I had all kinds of problems when I was manually switching inputs on my second extended monitor - but having the KVM controlling the switching - and leaving my monitors on just one input - everything is working great. It was almost 4 stars because it didn't "just work" right out of the box, but - given how temperamental MBPs are in the first place, and given the FANTASTIC support from the CKL folks (not to mention, price!! Wow again!) - this KVM switch is absolutely 5 stars!!!One final note, because this product page currently supports 4 different switches, make sure you're selecting the right one - specifically whether you want "mirrored" displays or "extended".

Does not support wireless keyboard / mouse
The build is solid and it seems like a good product. Image quality is good and has no noise nor degradation. -1 star because of the very bad DC adaptor that takes 2-3 plugs on a powerbar if not the last thing at the end. -2 stars because it doesn't support my microsoft sculpt wireless keyboard and mouse. Also, I'm not removing a star but unit beeps very loudly unless you have a wired keyboard connected to use a shortcut to disable it. Could use a MIC/HP combo port in the back for permanent speaker/mic setup.**EDIT: For some reason the USB Keyboard and mouse ports work with my MS Scult Wireless setup. Scrolling doesn't work on the mouse though, so using the USB2.0 port in front of the unit makes the dongle recognised properly and everything works, at the cost of the hotkeys. Don't care much about that since I disabled the beep already, pressing the physical button doesn't bother me. Up two stars.

Finnicky
Update: after 3 months of use, the switch failed working anymore, even with a new power adapter.....Switching is faster than the other KVMs I used before. The lights on the front panel do not indicate properly. Other than that, the product is solid. Thanks.

Nice
Took a bit of fiddling with what to plug in where. My keyboard didn't initially work in the rear keyboard port but as per the instructions i plugged it into the 2.0 Hub plug in the front and it works great. Been using it for several months now flawlessly

KVM Switch
This didn't work with my system. I could not connect my RGB mouse or keyboard. It did not switch video well either. My screens would show distortion and noise when using this prodcut.
