Great product BUT...
...UNFORTUNATELY they do not come in a size any larger than their largest available, which as I recall is "Large' period. The lower part of my quadriceps in the front and hamstrings in back are surrounded with fat. I don't like it. I hate it: but the point is that because of this these don't fit that well on ME. They basically fit, I CAN use them, BUT I wish they had just one size bigger at least. I don't feel that disclosing my weight would be helpful. I don't have the right tools for doing bodily measurements (a cloth measuring tape, whatever.)If you're built like a North American, professional football player, say an offensive lineman with stout, strong legs, these probably won't fit you very well, too small. Too bad too, because although they're too tight on me in the area I mentioned, the support they provide to my knees is very, very good. They're just a little too small on me right now. If my fat legs don't cause them to rip down the rear seam which it appears COULD be better reinforced there, I SHOULD grow into them now that I have the knee support to last longer on the treadmill, running, and the leg press. Finally, IF my legs weren't built the way they are, IF they were a little less fatty, which I'm working on, IF this company made a sleeve just a little bigger that fit ME, MY legs, I would DEFINITELY give these 5 stars. For a person with track and field type athletic looking legs I highly recommend these. They're made in Italy where I think for purposes of arriving at S, M, and/or L sizes they took into consideration the leg and body type of soccer players or something. Seriously. SO, if that helps any ...WFN

I GIVE THIS 4 STARS
I GOT THIS FOR MY PARTNER, SHE WAS A BASKETBALL PLAYER IN HIGH SCHOOL. THE JOB SHE HAS NOW IS WORKING AS A MANG. OF A NO KILL DOG SHELTER. HAS PART OF HER JOB SHE IS BENDING DOWN AND A LOT OF HARD WORK. SHE HAS USED THIS A FEW TIMES. WHEN SHE DID SHE SAID IT HELPED, HOWEVER, HER FEET AND LEGS SWELL UP AND THAT MAKES IT WHERE SHE IS UNABLE TO KEEP WEARING IT AND HAS TO TAKE IT OFF. THE SWELLING IS ONLY BECAUSE SHE IS ON HER FEET FOR ABOUT 10 TO 12 HOURS A DAY!!!!!!!! SHE LOVES HER JOB......... VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!! SHE DID TELL ME THAT WHEN SHE IS NOT WORKING AND WE ARE JUST AT THE HOUSE OR JUST OUT AND ABOUT......... AND SHE HAS THIS ON, ITS VERY COMFORTABLE!!!!!!!!!! SO THANK YOU VERY MUVH FOR THE HELP IT DOES DO FOR HER !!!!!!! DEE BLESSING

This compression sleeve gives me confidence
I considered a substantial number of similar items before I bought this product. Because I'd not tried a compression sleeve before, I didn't want to invest lots of money until I had some idea that a compression sleeve would work. The Safe-T-Gard is probably the least expensive item I considered. I have not been disappointed. In fact, I am so pleased that I intend to purchase another soon.I have a knee problem that won't go away. Even after surgery, I still experience swelling when I do strenuous activity (which, as I explained in my review of the Thera Pearl Knee Wrap, is a brisk 1-hour walk or an afternoon of raking leaves in the yard). I am NOT a runner so I can't recommend (or recommend against) it for that level of "strenuous." However, I was to the point of avoiding physical activity because of the probable result -- a swollen knee. If nothing else, the compression sleeve has given me the confidence to be active without concern about negative consequences. The compression sleeve is easy to get on. I don't have to worry about straps or comfortable tension. The medium size (which was the size recommended for my leg's circumference) is just the right size to fit my leg. It stays comfortably in place. I've worn it all day without discomfort. I've not had a single instance where, like a sock with inadequate elastic, it slips down or feels uncomfortable. Most important, it feels like it keeps my knee "in place." Moreover, when I'm done doing whatever, I don't need to take it off to, for example, ice the knee. The wrap is thin enough that I can place an ice pack (the Thera Pearl Knee Wrap) directly on top if it.Again, for me, I want to be active without worrying that I'll pay a price if I'm not constantly monitoring and administering to my knee. So far, this sleeve has done the job and I am again increasing the length of my brisk walks.

These really aren't that bad or great
These really aren't that bad or great. The other reviewers that mention that these tend to slide down are spot on. when you manage to find that perfect alignment on your leg it really is only a matter of time until activity will drop it down. It is nice to have the compression throughout the day without activity, and it does help for around the house or garden tasks, but sustained exercise will have you adjusting it fairly often and it will interrupt your workout if on a machine. The concept and pricing is good, just the inability of the product to stay where it is supposed to be is a bummer
