Total waste
Book was an old fashioned text book presentation that even schools today would discard. It was a total waste of my money and time, gave no (absolutely none) suggestions on remedies to deal with termite infestation. Would recommend it to no one.

Interesting information
There are a lot of myths about termites. Some people think of them as piranha, for example, in they tink they will eat their house in weeks. Understanding what termites are will help you understand how they behave and how to control their damage. A previous reviewer said the book lacked information on eradicating termites. This book does have a chapter on that, but it is mainly about the biology of termites. There are better books on eradication, but this one is for the thinking house-owner.
