'Pacific Breeze 2: Japanese City Pop, AOR & Boogie 1972-1986' digs deeper into the sounds of bubble-era Japan. From the proto-City Pop funk of Bread & Butter and Eiichi Ohtaki to the crate-digger favourites Eri Ohno and Piper, this entry brings another set of sought-after tunes, most of which have never before been available outside of Japan. Tomoko Aran and Anri, also included in this compilation, are just a few of the artists who have gained popularity in recent years thanks to Vaporwave, the meme-genre that heavily samples Japanese city pop to create its particular aesthetic.

City Pop Must Have
I took a gamble in buying a vinyl record off of Amazon after all the horror stories I have heard. It arrived quickly and I was surprised that two records came along with it.The records came with sleeves and a pamphlet that details info about the singer(s) of each song with i thought was pretty neat. Even the inside of the sleeve has a design on it. I loved all the small details and the music is very enjoyable. I would completely recommend it

Très bon cd mais...
A ce prix, je ne m'attendais pas à un coffret carton, bref le cd est d'excellente qualité mais le coffret en carton fait tache, bref un peu déçu vu le prix.
