I have a standing shower bath which is 40inch wide. Will this be a good fit?

Unfortunately, this door will not work. If you modify the door down to a 40" wide opening, your actual walk through will be too small. We would advise you to look at a DreamLine Unidoor or a DreamLine Elegance as some possible options. Is this available with the door opening on the left side?

Yep, It’s reversible. Just flip the glass.

I just got this and one of the doors is shorter than the other. Is that how it’s supposed to be?

No. My doors were the same in length and width. The only surprise was that one door was stationary which just happen to work okay for me due to the layout of my bathroom. The only inconvenience is that it is harder to clean.

I am confused. Do both the door with the handle and the towel rod slide? If not, which one is stationary? Is there a youtube video or product video?

Only the door with the handle slides. The glass pane with the towel rod is fixed. Standing in front, the right door slides and the left side is fixed.
