Sharpie Felt Tip Pens, Fine Point (0.4mm), Red, 12 Count

These are the best grading pens, as they are permanent and don't bleed through the page. I was previously buying a 4 pack of red, black, green and blue. This box has only red, so I am not buying extra colors, as my red pen gets the most use, and therefore dies first. The tips will get mashed down, particularly if you have a heavy hand. I would recommend a pen with a metal tip instead if you don't care that the ink is permanent and tend to mash the tips down.

I work in a retail chain pharmacy as a technician, and one of our corporate policies is that we initial everything we fill in red ink at the quantity & drug code number so if there is a problem with it, we can trace it back and correct the issue. I absolutely LOVE these pens! I've always loved felt tip pens, and these are the cream of the crop. They will only bleed through if you leave the tip pressed down long enough. I don't get bleed through on the labels or other paperwork with them. They write very smoothly, even in very small lettering. The tips don't break down hardly at all. Most importantly, they do NOT smear after about one second, which is very important when I am initialing labels and then immediately wrapping them onto a bottle and smoothing my hands over where I just wrote. They dry so very quickly, it is fantastic! I'm on my second 12-pack box in 4 months and I'm ordering another box as backup for when my current box runs out.

I UNDERLINE A LOT WITH A RED INK PEN IN BOOKS THAT I READ. THE SHARPIE RED INK FELT TIP PEN UNDERLINES IN A DEEP RED COLOR, IN A STRAIGHT LINE WITH NO GAPS, AND THE RED INK DOES NOT BLEED THROUGH THE PAPER TO THE NEXT PAGE. I HAVE FOUND AN EXCELLENT PEN TO UNDERLINE IN BOOKS WITH USING THE SHARPIE RED INK FELT TIP PEN.

The sharpie pens are fantastic for grading papers. They are smooth, and the red does not bleed through the paper. Would have been 5 stars, but the box of 12 sharpie pens I received came in a plain white box, and each pen has a huge bar code sticker wrapped around it that leaves massive sticky goo if you peel it off.

Writes smoothly and doesn't bleed through the pages. I am using them for a book with really thin pages (can't even use darker highlighters as they block what is on the other side) so was worried it would do the same, but it doesn't. Very happy I found pens that don't!

Great pen, 1.46 is a good price, I’m very irritated that it was mailed in an envelope instead of a mailing box, the pen’s box got a bit crushed.

The seller advertised a dozen pens for $5.98, and sent 1 pen. The packing slip indicated 1 pen, with 12 more, but did not indicate when the other 12 would follow. I complained to Amazon after a week. The seller emailed me that there was a misunderstaning about the wording of the ad. I'm sure I did not misunderstand "1 dozen pens for $5.98". I don't even normally like a black pen, but I like these. Also, felt tips sometimes have a little "drag" feel when you write with them, these don't. BJ's has a 10 pack of 4 black, 2 blue, 2 purple and 2 green for about $11. Staples sells red, black, or blue by the dozen for $19.99 with free shipping to the store. I had Staples rewards, so I paid less for 1 dozen red pens.

Great pens. Unfortunately a prevalent issues I've had with Sharpie pens is that the decorative outer layer of the pen starts peeling after a few weeks of regular use. The decoration falls off in tiny pieces and sticks to everything. If not for this I would give this a perfect score.

Sharpie products set the standard for pernament felt pens. Nicely balanced pens. Strong solid lines. Ink doesn't bleed to paper underneath. Would order from again.

Son excelentes, la tinta no traspasa las hojas así que puedo usarlo para escribir por ambos lados de la hoja. La presentación de la pluma es demasiado corriente para el costo que tiene, es lo único que no me gusta.
