It took me a bit to figure out how to load blades, but once I got that done it was very easy to use. Came with plenty of spare razor blades too!

This is my 1st 3 piece double edge razor; gave a noticeably closer shave, than the other two double edge butterfly opening razors that I use.Being a wooden handled, handcrafted razor; considerably lighter, and may not be as balanced as with an all metal razor. May have suffered a couple of nicks getting use to the weight distribution but, still a great shave and nice handle.Update; 9 months later: Screw broke off head (top piece), inside handle. Don't know if it was due to poor quality materials (metal/metal fatigue) or manufacturing. Oh well, guess I'll replace at some point.

The handle is nice and meaty.But the blades are the star.They are made to cut clean and exact and they do.I've used lesser blades in the handle and got a nick or three.These prime blades are legit.Clean shaving time in, time out.

The razor looks nice, but I did not have a chance to try it out, since the package was missing 30 of its promised 50 blades. I asked Amazon for a credit to replace them, but the only options available to me were a refund or replacement.

This is a good shave set. I think for the price, it is nice to get a travel case, 50 blades, and a razor for a decent price. However, I could tell something did not look straight. Fortunately, there was nothing wrong with the shave, but I later noticed that the head does not sit straight on the handle. It is not the head, but the handle that is not drilled properly.

All Razor Meister razors are the same mild Chinese indigenous razor head design. In other words, a mild profile. Just pick the handle you prefer because you'll get the same head no matter what you pick. Now the Cloud platinum blades it comes with are ok, far better than standard Cloud blades which are as sharp as a cloud. As with any mild razor head, if you use a sharper blade you'll get a closer shave. But overall for the price a decent razor.

Actually I am finding this to be a reasonably good razor. For the price I didn't expect much. I'm brand new at this, and despite having seem my father use such razors when I was a child by the time I was shaving myself he had discovered the "benefit" of those horrible little blue Bic plastic things. Anyway this was the second razor I bought; the first was a Parker that broke instantly (they replaced it) and in desperation I bought this one. The handle has heft and the other two parts are very solid. It is not as mild as they say it is. If you don't really know what you are doing (hello!) and your blade is sharp (the Lord's that come with it ain't bad at all) you can do some damage. But a few weeks in, after honing my craft a little on some vintage Gillette's (TTO and Tech) I am finding that this is pretty good. Gotta go slow and respect the weight of it. I also find (and this is just me probably), that razors with longer handles are harder to keep at the correct angle. Something about the way the handle hits my hand drags it down so it is scrape-y. Being aware of that, my last shave with this razor with a 3rd-use Astra blade was one of my best ever. Also the handle will fit vintage Gillette Techs, so if you want to goose the weight a little you can.

Razor head had some scratching and corrosion. So did the handle, but that could be cleaned up. Decided to keep the razor because the handle was salvageable, and the 50 blades and razor case made it worth the (discounted) price. If you're looking for a decent usable razor, this may not be it. My advice would be, make this purchase only if the extras are worth the price to you.

Es un buen rastrillo, buen peso y calidad pero es un poco corto del mango, así que si eres de manos grandes no es recomendable
