75277 Star Wars TM Boba Fett Helmet

This is the 2nd of the Lego Star Wars helmets I've bought. The first (Tie Fighter Pilot) is great, has more pieces than this but as it's black on black it doesn't look as good on display (and is a dust magnet). The Boba Fett one is more colourful and stands out better. There's a slight aspect of playability as the rangefinder can flip up or down but hardly a "toy". Build-wise both helmets are straightforward, a sturdy base and square block then build up the curves. This one took me about 2.5hr. Marketed as 18+ (for displaying) but no complicated steps so kids could manage it. One issue is the instructions - the layering of same coloured pieces to build up the helmets strain the eyes a little - but then I'm colourblind so it might just be me. Got this at a reduced price so I probably feel it is better value than anyone who paid £50+ for it. Not a difficult build but very enjoyable - cleverly constructed and when complete is a brilliant display piece of the feared Bounty Hunter. It is a decent size - anyone complaining that it is small and not a hard build clearly didn't read product info before buying. Find out about these models and decide on why you want it and it will meet (or surpass expectations). I wasn't worried about having a challenging build - the model is for display and it looks simply fantastic. Very Happy.

I got this set after seeing some online builder streaming their experience with it and seeing it goes very nicely alongside the 20th Anniversary Slave 1 as a display piece. It comes in a very nice box, looking like the premium UCS boxes and has a manual to the usual high standard which also has a preamble about Bobba himself. The build itself came in 5 bags and made for a few very relaxing hours putting this together. It is listed as an 18 plus but I feel that teens upwards with Lego experience could handle it. The finished product looks fantastic. It makes for a decent value build for the price and a great looking display piece.

These are so hard to find nowadays, and this Is much more expensive then the rest of through collection and when it first came out. Double the price really. But my partner wanted this for a long time so I managed to grab it for his birthday. He had a lot of fun building it and while it's fairly small, it's really nice once fully complete. Package had some small bumps but the inside contents were perfectly fine.

Bought this as a birthday present for my partner who absolutely loved it! Great stuff, my only thought is that it's a bit on the small side, especially for being in such a big box. There is also a clear case you can buy to protect it but that's almost the same price as the actual head!
