Perfect.
I can't rate this high enough. My gas hob broke and the gas was capped off. I needed a replacement hob without having to pay a fortune for fitting, and I needed something I could just plug into the existing plug hole the gas hob had used. This is great. It plugs straight into the wall. I bought a jigsaw at the same time to cut the existing hole a little larger so it would fit, and it slotted right in. Does a perfectly decent job.... I only tend to use 1 - 2 rings at a time anyway, so have no issue with the lower power. It kicks out a LOT of heat and level 9 is crazy hot :) I tend to simmer on 5, and it all works out well. Maybe one day I will have it hard wired, but honestly, its perfectly fine as it is. It looks great. I'm really happy with it.

Good for the price with convenience of 13a plug in.
This was perfect for our needs. Looking for something relatively inexpensive that we can move from one part of the house to another during building work. Plug in was essential and was really easy to install. Be aware that the lead isn't the longest though, before you cut any holes! I read other reviews so knew that I wasn't going to get full power from all 4 zones at once, but this has never really been an issue. Boils a kettle really quickly, gets a pan of veg going in no time and has plenty of power for the wok. Unless you try to do all three, full blast at once. Full power is ok on 2 zones, but then it'll start to spread the power out if you get greedy. The fan is a bit noisy for a while after cooking. If that is going to bother you, you might have to pay a bit more for something else. Personally I enjoy the surprise sense of peace I get when it stops halfway through dinner. I only put 4 stars for easy to clean because I have seen better glass surfaces. Not sure what it is about this one, but the finish across the glass never quite seems perfect. Hard to explain - a bit smeary. It doesn't affect the function though, and you can only tell if you look close up. If you're wondering whether to go induction or not - do it! You'll never look back. In my view, far easier and more controllable than even gas.

Very happy
I cracked my NEFF hob badly and didn't want to spend the same kind of money again but needed a 13amp induction hob. Im really happy with this product. Intact in a lot of ways its better than my neff one and a hell of a lot cheaper. Some people say it makes a lot of noise. Im not saying its completely silent but honestly its hardly worth a mention. I highly recommend.

Great
We bought this to replace a gas cooker which I felt was getting expensive to run and also inefficient. So far, I have to say I am really pleased with it. It’s plugged in and not hardwired, but I’ve not really noticed any reduction in performance. It definitely heats up the saucepans way quicker than the gas hob did, and it’s so easy to control. Only downside was having to buy new pans as my stainless steel ones didn’t work.

I made a mistake in buying this
As it was a plug-in I thought it would sit on top of our cooker. This has the old electric heated plate type rings, which are terribly inefficient. These are disconnected and no longer usable. Although the underside of this new hob has 4 feet of sorts, they do not extend beyond the depth of the hob, in fact it sits on the fan casings beneath the hob. A very poor design. As I had already unpacked it, I decided not to send it back. Instead I used my engineering skills and built a platform on which to stand it, ensuring enough clearance below it, to let the thing keep cool. Now that's done it works perfectly. It is easily controlled and accurate in its temperature stability. Easy enough to keep clean and cools quite quickly after finishing cooking. As for the sticky label, well a bit of kitchen roll with a few drops of cellulose thinners works a treat.

Great Plug-in Induction Hob!
Got this as a replacement for a Bosch Induction Hob that had failed. Needed one that would plug in, so thought I would try this one. Got to say I am very pleasantly surprised, and would even say it is better than the Bosch one I had. I recently bought some Ninja saucepans which didn't work very well on my Bosch Induction Hob and assumed it was the saucepans, but after using them on this one it appeared to be the Hob as they work very well on this one. The Hob works very well and heats the pans fast, especially on the boost function. Please be aware that as the Hob is a plug in one the power is limited somewhat so you can not have all the rings on maximum. Not a huge issue as I found it is easy to stagger the rings power. It also has a bridging zone so you can heat one item over two rings. If I had one gripe it would be that the power control that you slide your finger over to adst the rings power is a bit sensitive until you get used to using it.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID
I would have given it no stars. It’s cheap but after a few months stops functioning and the customer support is non existent. You have to return the item! Avoid and spend a little more on a recognised brand.
