The Brand New Heavies remains 1 of my favorite 90's bands. I bought several of their cassettes for my music collection but this particular one ended up with the tape breaking apart. It took me several years but I was thrilled to finally find a new copy on cassette at Amazon. Item received new & sealed as described and I received it in just a few days. Glad to have it back in my collection.

I love this album because it was my introduction to the BNH!You can tell that the band had grew up on such70's American R&B icons as Stevie Wonder,Brass Construction, Curtis Mayfield, Ohio Players,E,W&F and Rufus feat. Chaka Khan as well as70's fusion jazz like Herbie Hancock,Roy Ayers Ubiquity, The Blackbyrds andLonnie Liston Smith, but they wove it into aninteresting and refreshing sound that ruled theearly to mid 90's and influenced acts likeJamiroquai, Erykah Badu, Maxwell, Amiel Lamiereaux,etc. and became known as neo-soul here in the states.N'Dea Davenport's fluid vocals are the perfectmarriage to the bands funky "jazz-perations"!"Dream Come True", "Stay This Way" "Ride In The Sky" and"Never Stop" will always have a special place in my heartand if you like this one, then check out 1994'ssizzling "Brother-Sister", which is just as ormore hot as this one!

One of BNH's best 4 albums
One of BNH's best albums, along with Brother Sister and Shelter. Very funky gooves from a band who aren't the best musicians, but work together to create funky original interesting fun music. Love this album - one of my all-time favourites. Packed full of all good tunes too! No duds.

Lovin' it!
Top notch sounds of their early works. Basically their first album minus 'Shake Down' but with 'Never Stop,' 'Don't Let It Go To Your Head' and 'Got To Give' thrown in. Love it!
