In my opinion, this is the best all purpose dechlorinator, chloramine removal, ammonia binding, nitrate and nitrIte binding product on the market. I actually did a mini experiment where I purposely contaminated water samples then added the product to it, and it detoxified it. I have photos and test results on another website that I can't name. It is exactly the same as the liquid product called Prime, also made by Seachem. By being in a powdered form it is cheaper to ship and has a longer lasting shelflife. I always keep it on hand, because you never know when emergency will arise, and you need to detoxify something in your pond. As a matter of fact right now I am going through a power outage and I put some in there to make sure my fish are safe.

Best price i have found in a while. Lid seals tight so no issue with storing this. I use this to refill a smaller container that i keep in the fish room. Beware it does not smell pretty when you first open the lid.

I gave it a 1 star be cause it is on Amazon multiple time at different prices. I was under the impression I was getting a bigger bucket. Cause shipping weight was 12lbs. When other listing it was 9 lbs.
