Joey is a treasure! This book is fun, witty and inspiring! The recipes are fantastic! Obviously my first one was the cookie but now I’m trying to make them all and everything is so yummy! There’s something in there for everyone!! Even my 11 year old is enjoying cooking her way through this book!

This is the best cookbook you can own! The recipes are fun, some are fancy, but easy to make with the most fun directions and descriptions. Not just food recipes either, drinks! And not just alcohol. Even the most meals are totally zhushed up. Joey Skladany is the food guru of the 2020s and I can’t wait for his next book!

Joey really put everything into this cookbook. From the minute I saw unicorns inside the cover I knew this was going to be super enjoyable. Joey conveys his love of good food with an infectious enthusiasm for the cooking and baking and drinking experience. Easy to follow recipes for every craving.

The recipes are great for creating fun menus. Especially since most of us aren't eating out as much! The recipes recreate fun cocktails, brunch and dinner foods to add some pizzaz to our mundane meals. I think this is a great gift for anyone that is challenged in the kitchen and needs some solid recipes. Joey walks through the basic and nice to have items for your pantry too!

Joey Skladany’s Basic Bitchen is full of yummy, cheeky-named recipes! The photos of the food are so enticing. I’ve made the OMG, the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever!!! a few times and yes, they are the best cookies ever. This cookbook also includes helpful general cooking tips (aka Just the Tips). I’m buying more copies as gifts for friends.

One of the best cook books I own! I bought five total, one for myself and four to give away as gifts and the friends I gave them to love them! Joey has such an infectious personality and you can tell that by his writing and how this book is set up. It’s not your normal cook book these are recipes I want to cook and can cook!!

I absolutely love this book. Joey’s energy, wit and sense of humor comes across each recipe seamlessly. Love love the amazing chocolate chip cookies. I’ll have other things to make quickly to bring to any future gathering.
