Great for kids! They play with these daily. They do break occasionally, but I just buy more to add to the basket.

Pieces break easily
My kids love this toy. I bought it last Christmas but over time many pieces broke. I bought a second one today and three more pieces are already broken. The material it's made out of is not as durable as they claim.

Great idea, poor execution
While my 3 year old loves these, they have a fatal design flaw in that they only include straight pieces with both a male and female end. They need to include straight pieces with both female and both male. It is very difficult to construct something while having to think in an unintuitive way just to make what should be a fairly simple design.
