I liked this story
I liked this story.....but I find the female character has very little self-respect for herself!!!! It was one thing if he slept with her and she was not a virgin at first, but it's like he drank a cup of water and was done with her!!!...And then in almost less than three days they meet again (after five years) she hands her cookies to him with no problem!...I guess what people are saying now is "if you want love from a man; lack self-respect".....But besides all that..... nice story!...

A better friend and lover
This friends to lovers felt more complete. Also more realistic than the other stories by this author. Brent and Nina were destined for friendship at the tender age of five. No amount of separation could deter their friendship. Brent's dad is a piece of work. Would have loved to hear how Brent handled his father and his insane offer.

Second chance
I enjoyed this short story, I like this type of "best friends" falling in love plot. Brent is a jerk though, Nina is a great character, his "knight" in shining armor, lol. The fact that Nina is a goddess instead of model type is irrelevant, he is drawn to her and is taking full advantage of this second chance.

Nina was a moron for pining over Brent for over 5 years. While he was just the biggest jerk on the planet. Stupid plot and stupid characters.

Friend or lover? Neither really just a nasty one night stand. He claimed he loved her and then just deserted her and cut her off. Not sure I would have given him a second chance but they had a connection that couldn't be overlooked.

Yes to Fated...Destiny
Nina and Brent were destined to be together and Bianca sounds absolutely adorable.Friendship, love, abandonment, then love again. Not sure I could have gone back after being abandoned!

Fated
Second-chance childhood buddies, this book follows the path of Nina and Brent. I read the story to the finish and there was something catchy about the story but it just lacked character depth for me. The story although swapping between perspectives still felt as though it was being narrated rather than capturing my imagination so that I was living the story with them.

A really enjoyable read!! I personally would have let Brent suffer more but I'm not in love with him so I can understand why our heroine gives way. Enjoyable read. Thanks Rowena!!
