Good clear picture and sound
Brought this before I knew how long the delivery was going to take (4 weeks!), but came very early. Instructions all in Chinese, so no help there, but as it turned out wasn't needed as this simply plugs into USB port and works straight away. Had previously a cheap webcam with built-in microphone which was no good on my PC. This though has really clear picture and I can lean back in my chair and the built-in microphones pick up the sound no problem. The lens can also be focused for near or distance recording. Clip is firm to hold the camera in place. For the money a good buy.

Everything iin chinese
If I could leave NO STARS in the review I would.The instruction booklet has the word 'Instructions' in English on the front as well as Chinese characters. It is the only word in English in the entire booklet; everything is in Chinese. The link web pages are blank. When plugged in to the computer, all we get s a completely undeliverable image; a total blur. No way to contact seller in China. A total waste of money.

very good value for money
Having a PC monitor without webcam or microphone was becoming difficult as my iPad was not great for webinars and meetings and I needed a bigger screen to show all the participants. The camera/microphone just plugs into a USB port and is genuinely plug and play. The device is significantly cheaper than many other options available and, for the cost, is very good value for money. Only downside for old, non- IT folk like me is that the enclosed instruction sheet is in Chinese. Took me a little while to become confident but know works on all the programs like Zoom , Google meet etc.Highly recommended

You want to Zoom with that thing? You're braver than I thought
For many years UK have been paying to export their rubbish to China, and now the chinese have worked out a way to get UK customers to buy it back.All the 1 star revies have already got this covered, but for the sake of repetition;The depth of field is hopeless so once you have managed to manually focus the thing into an image you would normally associate with mild myopia you must rigidly maintain the same focal distance away from the camera.The built-in mic is so bad it can only have been included in the camera as some sort of joke, if it picks up our voice at all it will sound as if you are trying to speak through your neighbour's brick wall, but in the meantime will produce a cacophony of squelches and random feedback noises that will have your Zoom host reaching for the mute button.The picture quality claims to be 1080p but I can only assume they are using some alternate definition of 1080p from everyone else that they have made up themselves, as another reviewer commented 'they hadn't seen webcam picture quality like this since the 1990s'.I think I will be framing this particular piece of junk with a big sign underneath... CAVEAT EMPTOR!

It's not very good
Yeah, I know. People will say "well, what did you expect for the price?" But still...First, I ordered a 1080p model. Got a 960p one instead.Field of view is very narrow. Have to move it a mile away for decent result. No zoom in/out function.My desktop computer (64bit Asus GII Gaming PC) running Windows 10 didn't pick it up without a lot of fiddling around.Focus ring works like this: Left=blurred; Right=blurred; Centre (best guess where that is cause there's no markers)=clearer.Two little spot lights are nice. Not much use, but nice.Mic is (as you would expect) rubbish.I would advise against ordering as you can get cheaper models which work better on most counts. I'll find some use for it maybe, but other to that lesson learned.

i received this camera, installed, seemed OK, computer acknowledged device, unfortunately when doing a Hangout call, realised the camera was not working. Have now reinstalled my normal logitech web cam, tested and that IS working, so it has to be the camera that is faulty, all I get is a yellow background and lots of lines. Can't send it back as have rid of all the packaging. No instructions by the way with this. DisappointedJoanna Perkins.

Disappointed!!!
I chose this camera because of all the specs that promised the best picture!!The image is very dark regardless of how much light there is in the room. Colors are very pale (everything looks shades of yellow and brown). I have tried everything and now off to but another one.Total waist of money!

Appalling
The Amazon listing is misleading with two versions, 1080P & 960P. By accident it is too easy to order the 960P version which is truly dreadful, very poor focus. The 1080P version has extremely poor colour quality particularly in low light.DO NOT BUY EITHER OF THESE.
