Don't waste your money on this gauge
Don't waste your money on this gauge. I purchased it through Amazon and had it professionally installed when my car was tuned. Gauge worked one day then quit. It only shows the default 14.7 AF reading at all times. My installer called Autometer and trouble shot the gauge. They keep saying that it's a ground even though he grounded it exactly as they instructed and it still doesn't work. Check the internet before buying. Tons of others having the same issues with this gauge. Unfortunately, the return period to Amazon expired last week due to delays getting this installed. I'm left to deal with Autometer customer service who thus far, have not been any help. Do yourself a favor and spend your $300 on a quality gauge and don't waste it on this model.

Numerical display failing after 5 years
Purchased directly from Summit Racing, so you won't see a "verified purchase" tag on this review. But you should know, regardless...Installed in 2016. LED segments in the numerical display started failing this summer. It's becoming hard to interpret the numbers now, since at least two segments are missing on most numbers, so it could be a "1" or a "4", etc.Not related to the reliability of the gauge, but it sure would be nice to have a function that turns it off or dims it a LOT when it's dark outside. Driving at night, it's too bright and introduces a ton of glare if it's mounted on your A-pillar. I'm thinking of making a little hood to hide it on my winter morning drives to work. Now that I've got my fuel map dialed in, I don't really need to see it all the time anyway.
