Well worth the money for the time you get out of it!
This was my second model kit I've ever made. The first being a sushi restaurant that was more complex, produced by the same company. This convenient store was a blast! It is a relaxing past time to work on bit by bit. Overall, it took me a couple of weeks working on it about an hour a day. Well worth the money for someone who enjoys crafting and puzzles... Overall, I really enjoy the variety of materials these kits utilize and appreciate they don't require painting. The lights really bring it to life! I also appreciate the kit comes with a dust cover. The instructions are easy to follow, primarily using step-by-step photos to create each component. The most challenging component for me were the food "cans" with gold foil around the top and bottom. The foil was supposed to be adhesive, but was not sticky enough to adhere to the plastic tubing the "cans" were made of. The kit came with a box cutter, ruler, tweezers, and scissors. However, I used my own tools such as x-acto and a set of craft tweezers. I think you could get by with what is included though. I used a variety of adhesives: Elmer's all purpose, Beacon 3-in-1 clear craft glue, and super glue. If you only bought one, I recommend Beacon 3 in 1. One very minor disappointment about this kit was that the music box is the same melody as the sushi restaurant. I'm looking forward to building my next kit!

Lights not working
This little doll house is quite nice , generally the instructions are ok. You might have to figure out a couple unclear instructions. The only thing I have to complain is both LED lights are not working.
