CFF 1.25 lb Competition Rubber Fractional Weight Plates - Pair…

At this point I lift only for strength, so this product may be more geared to the power/weightlifter. I'm no dan green/mark bell/jesse norris or anything, but once I got to about 275x5 (greyskull LP - also awesome: 5 stars) bench press the gains seemed to disappear; I was stuck at this for almost 2 years. A 5lb jump (2.5 lb on each side) was just too much and was really counter-productive. These are for smaller increments that my body can adapt to much better (2.5lb total increase obviously). I'm blowing through plateaus now and that's after trying a ton of other stuff. The mark bell slingshot helped me overload and feel more confident under heavy weights (repping 325x5 with the blue reactive one) but it didn't transfer to my regular bench so well (I do recommend that product too tho, don't get me wrong). I may be rambling, but anyway these are awesome. But I did get stopped at airport security because they're filled with sand or something. Still recommend, just maybe put them in the top of your luggage so TSA doesn't have to dump out all your stuff in front of like 40 people at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson airport. But again, I digress. Highly recommend.

I just got through my Chest/Shoulders/Triceps workout today with these bad boys. I successfully added 2.5lbs total to each of my sets on Incline bench press which is exactly what I was hoping for. Steady strength gains are the best gains. These are made of very high quality rubber and it's a lot more dense than I was expecting. It almost feels like a small slab of rock that is also bouncy? It should be noted that it's a very snug fit onto a standard barbell, but it fits.Overall I am very pleased with the quality, free shipping and delivery time on this product and I highly recommend them to my fellow weightlifters.

Fractional plates are pretty pricey for what they are but that seems to be the going rate so it wouldn't be fair to complain about this vendor. Fractional plates are key to those of us serious about making incremental gains over the long term. A 5# increase in lifts like the overhead press for sets across becomes a small leap. Small plates are for small gains are small but they truly add up over time and help stave off plateaus.

Fit standard Olympic barbells perfectly and I like that they are white rubber because I can write my name on them in permanent marker so no one walks away with em in the gym. Microloading plates. You know what they're for. Go get some.

It weigh's exactly as described! Perfect 1.25X. So glad I found CFF. The CAP plates I bought were off by litterally .25-1 lbs, getting 18 lbs when you're expecting 20 was sad. Weighed these on a scale and it was within the margin of error!

Rubber plates that weighed out to 1.257 lbs each according to my food scale. They fit on an Olympic barrel, although a little tight but hey, better than too loose. Really nothing more you could ask for, proper weight and they fit. Hope they help me progress a little better.

Does the job well and feels very sturdy. For some reason this weight is rather large, it's bigger than the 2.5 lbs rubber plates at my gym. I also really wish they made these in black because my plates look really dirty now.
