A great product! Surprisingly effective! . . . Our Dachshund (Sarge) is 13 years old, has had a thyroid condition since he was 3. As he got older he started losing his hair under his belly and legs, skin got dry, flaky and itched and the worst . . . was the STINK! Yes, we had a stinky Dachshund. We had to give him a bath weekly with special Vet shampoo. I tried Omega-3 pills and vitamins to no avail. I was reading negative reviews of still another omega-3 supplement I thought I wanted to buy, but the review instead mentioned that Royal Coat Express Omega Itch Ender really worked well for her dog. I found it online, read about it, saw the good reviews, and liked the fact that it was a high concentrate of 100% fish oil liquid. I believe in oils or liquid over a pill as it digests quicker and absorbs better. So to get started I bought two 8 oz bottles. Directions on the bottle were to add 1/4 tsp (about 20 drops) on dog food once a day for 4 weeks, then reduce to 1/8 tsp (10 drops) after that for maintenance. And the results have been super! After using for only 4-5 days, noticeably NO stink!, Hair is actually making a comeback. His coat is silky smooth. And the itch has been significantly reduced and becoming less each day. It's been only 3 weeks using this product so the itch could even reduce more. Of course I'll have to use Ark Natural Royal Coat for the rest of Sarge's life. Just wish I had found it sooner. I rarely write these kind of reviews on products. But I had to for this. Don't waste your money on anything else until you've tried this. . . Another great pet product I purchased on Amazon more than a year ago is the Pet Safe Food Dispenser I use for our 2 cats. That has been a god-send too.

I first began using this product nearly 2 years ago. It seemed to start working after just a few days! In fact, I could see a diference in the first 2 daysI I didn't expect to have such good results that soon! I thought it would take at least a couple weeks to see results, but I noticed a significant decrease in their scratching and hair chewing in just days! I've been very pleased with it!It's 100% Wild Fish Oil and Borage Oil. Both my dogs like the taste and it's easy to administer. I just add it to their food.I posted my results on Facebook since so many of my friends have dogs and most of them were having problems with itching, although like mine,they had no fleas! I've told all my friends, and most of them have had great results with this!I stopped using it for a while because I thought they didn't need it anymore. I forgot I had it! Then my dogs started itching and biting their hair again! It seems to be worse from July through September for mine. I just ordered another bottle. This is something I want to always have on hand in my refrigerator!The dosage for your dog's weight is given on the bottle. It is recommended to double the dosage the first four weeks and then just give the normal maintenance dosage daily.

We love this product. We have a dog that has food allergies that presents itself as a rash. Our vet said to give her fish oil to help her skin. This product works great. We put it on her food and she seems to like it. It makes her hair so soft and helps to keep her rash at bay. We use it for both our dogs and it seems to help with shedding too. Oddly enough, our cats don’t seem to like it.

I'm still reviewing this product. So far, our Maine Coon cat who is prone to itching and scratching and who has a skin issue that requires a steroid injection every three weeks, hasn't had to have his shot yet. We are now at the end of week three going into week four and the product appears to be helping. I will return to update this review soon.UPDATE:09/17/12 - Did not work. We still had to take him to the vet for his monthly shot. Oh well, it was worth a try. But, I plan to continue giving him the Royal Coat daily. I will update this review again in four weeks.UPDATE:10/18/12 - Four weeks have passed and the poor cat still had to have his shot. BUT, normally the steroid/allergy shot doesn't start helping for a few days. This time his scratching/itching went away pretty much overnight. I also brush him weekly and in the past I've noticed a lot of dandruff flakes but not as much this time. Soooo.... with all this said, I do believe the product is helping. Maybe not as fast as I wanted but there's a positive change noticed. Again, I will continue the application and will have a final update in four weeks.FINAL UPDATE: 11/01/12 - Other than helping the dander issue, the product does not help the allergy issue. We had to take him for his steroid shot a week early. Bottom line report. Try it, it just might help your pet if it has dry skin or other skin issues but it does not help a problem such as allergies from food or other external sources.

Amazing results....my cat's skin was very flaky/itchy and the hair was very dull. He had scratched off the hair on his back. Using this product, his hair is now very shiny, silky feeling, and his hair is growing back in. I noticed the shine and silkiness coming back within a day or two. The new hair showed up within about 3 or 4 days. It will take awhile before it reaches the length of his other hair but he is one very relaxed and happy cat again. He is not scratching at all. I will use this forever on my cats and on the dog if I get one again. Told my friend about it also.

I have found that this works really well for my dog, who seems to have sensitive skin and gets itchy. I know it works because there have been a few instances where she has gone a few weeks without the oil and she's very itchy, but after a week of giving her the oil in her food she's much better. I highly recommend this product! Helpful reminder - it needs to be stored in the fridge once opened and can be a little messy but worth it!

ポメラニアン子犬の耳が赤く炎症を起こし、動物病院で点耳薬を貰い少し良くなったが耳を掻くので耳周りの毛が抜けてしまっていました。ホワイトの子なので心持ち皮膚も少し赤くアレルギーなどがあるのかなと、なにか良いものはないか探していました。色々なレビューを見て、痒みにも効いたという事、また成分的にも安心できそうなので試してみることにしました。1kg程のポメラニアンなのですが与える量の計算が難しく体重5kg以下で1日量1mg以下までしか目安がなかったのですが、最初の1ヶ月くらいは倍量をおすすめしている方もいたので1mgを1日2回に分けて与えてみました与えた翌日に気がついたのは、まずは便。あまりかたまりの便ができなかったのですが翌日から形のある便をするようになり肝心な赤みや痒みは、4日くらい経ってから赤みが少なくなり、前ほど掻かなくなりました。毛艶も心無しかしっとりしてきたように思います。まだ2週間程なので徐々に量を減らし、与え過ぎに注意しながら様子を見ていきたいです。
