I know these are inexpensive and you get what you pay for, but I wouldn’t recommend these. The pieces did not all line up so there are gaps in the baskets. They really feel like they’ll fall apart at any moment. There is a strong smell at first like other reviews said but honestly it dissipated and didn’t bother me that much compared to the lack of sturdiness. Unfortunately I’m keeping because they are the perfect size for my cube storage unit but will definitely need to replace them soon!

I ordered the natural, got a dark brown. I can’t tell if the color is misrepresented in the photos or if I received the wrong item. They’re definitely flimsy, I wouldn’t put anything heavy in them. They also shed horribly, especially if you pull them in and out from a shelf/cubby. There are large gaps in all of the seams too, so you can’t store anything small or loose in them like you would with cloth bins this size. They’re cheap, but you get what you pay for. Will be returning.

I purchased these storage baskets to help organize by bathroom. These fit perfectly on the multi-tiered shelf we have. They do have a bit of a “green tea” scent to them so I let them sit outside to air out a bit. After a month or so of having them they still carry that scent but it isn’t overwhelming or off putting. They were easy to assemble and fit a decent amount of products. Our shelves look much more organized now!

it looks great but extremely strong smell, filled the room up for about a month. i wouldn’t store clothes in them pieces of the material get caught in fabric

Love the look, it what exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, they smell terrible. I put them on my deck overnight to air the out but it didn't help a bit. I am returning them. I read you can try cleaning them with a vegetable brush, with bleach and water, but I am not going to through all of that with a new item.

I purchased 2 sets and immediately had to return one because 2 of the 4 cubes were made wrong and could not be assembled into a box. The 2nd set I kept and loved them until I realized they were leaving black scratch marks on my painted cabinets, and also they flake very easily and chunks of wicker started coming out. I am not happy with the quality and of course I am past the return date, so they are going in the trash. Sad.

Is VERY challenging to assemble. The fastening still not made to fit easy at all. Had to take the rubber ends off but they don’t come off easily.

Update: just needed a few hours to air out.It smells like a barn in my house due to the smell of these bins. They are on the porch airing out as others suggested. I hope that works! Love the color and ease of putting them together. I won’t be putting heavy things in them because they don’t stay together securely. Some are also misshapen and have gaps between some of the sides. Delivery was promised for 3 days and ended up being 2 weeks.
