Good starter book
A good book for learners of Arabic as a foreign language. Very basic book. However, my 6 yr old daughter who is a rising 2nd grader found it too simple (she already studied Arabic before)Not recommended for speakers of Arabic as a Second language.Overall, great starter for non-native speakers with no prior command of language.

Very good for children
Great. Just what I was looking for my daughter. It has practice writing Arabic letters and then a lil picture of an animal to color which my daughter likes to do after she finishes each letter. And then we read the Arabic letter we learnt about. It's very nice.

Highly rec., great value for price, nice step-by-step approach!
Just what I was looking for. We are using this to learn (mom and kids). It is simple and clearly laid out. I also bought Alif Baa but it is too hard for us (total beginners, don't know any Arabic). Will try to use that after this week. Really impressed with the size: over 200 pages. Great value, highly recommend!

Basically Teaches Arabic Alphabet only.
It’s too simple. The only thing it will teach anyone is how to write and read the Arabic letters and the short vowels. Putting letters to make words however, it gets oh so wrong. Letters connect differently to form words in Arabic. This book needs a reprint. Also it will not teach you to read or write Arabic words at all. Will be returning.
