Q: How wide are the straps on small size?

Q: The harness did not come with a front clip D-ring, as pictured in the stock photos. Is mine defective or is the page description inaccurate?

My harness has the D ring behind the shoulders, not at the neck. I will say I very much like this harness. It is comfortable for the dog and very secure. It is easy to put on him. I never saw the photo of a D ring in the front. But I have clipped his leash to circle rings at the neck of the collar for convenience.

Thank you for your question! The Sure-Fit Harness has soft nylon edges. The issues you have read from reviews are due to improper fit of the harness where the harness is too loose and has caused friction rubs from the harness sliding back and forth over the dog's skin. In order to prevent this, you will need to make sure the harness fit is snug. You will know you have the correct fit if you tug on the straps of the harness and your dog's skin moves with the movement of the strap rather than the strap sliding back and forth over the dog's skin.
