Solid Hedge Shears HS21, Bush and Hedge Trimming, Length 59cm, Hardened Steel Blade/Soft-Touch Grip Plastic Handle, Black/Orange, 1026827

These hedge shears are very solid for £15. They have thick, sharp steel blades. My blades had a little surface rust on them, which was easily removed with a small piece of wet n dry paper and I then sprayed a thin film of 3in1 oil on both sides of the blade to keep air off the blades to stop rusting. The handles didn't slip in my bare hands when using them. How much they hurt your arms from recoil depends on how hard you are snapping them together! The nut that holds both blades together is a large nyloc nut, which is inelegant but effective. The blades were sharp when they arrived and I had no issues with these for cutting small hedges on my property. They don't show the small branch notch on the blade on Amazon's photos, which is an excellent detail for cutting branches that are approx 6mm in diameter. These are solid and well made. Can't go wrong with fiskars. I haven't tried these on grass, I have dedicated grass snips for that purpose. Also there is no gap between the blades.

Cuts grass edges well

Really easy to used and the blades a really sharp, only has a problem with wet, thick grass. Answer, cut the grass when it’s dry!!!! One minor quibble, they are quite heavy but that’s because they’re solidly built and I hope they will last a long time. One other comment, they appear to be made in Finland which makes a change from some of the dross that comes from the far east.

Bought one of these about forty years ago and had seen a lot of use. Eventually no longer able to sharpen it effectively so was amazed to find exactly the same pruner still available. Very good value and simple to maintain. Cuts up to inch and a half thick branches of most soft woods.

They are a little more expensive than some others but we’ll worth it they are very sharp and well made.

I already have a few other Fiskars products so thought these would be a safe buy. I couldn’t have been any more wrong!! I bought these to trim round the edges of my lawn but these ‘grass shears’ are not fit for purpose… they more or less fold the grass rather than cut. They do not work! Please check out some of the video reviews before thinking about purchasing, I wish I had, or better still, just don’t buy them. Always like fiskers products I had an old pair or fiskers shears that were 10+ years old and I had no idea how bad I needed a new one u til I picked this up it cuts hedging and grass like a dream compared to my old beaten up ones, grip length allows for good control when cutting and they do not extend, a good weight without making your arms ache and hope they will last just as long as my old one

Let me start by saying I am a big fan of Fiskars products. So that is why I am disappointed in these shears. Bought them last year but only using now for the first time. They don’t cut grass. The grass slides through the blades. They work brilliantly on bushes and small branches but definitely not grass. As these are sold as grass shears, very disappointed. Just wished I’d tried them last year so I could return them.

Coupe très bien

Super eficaces y ligeras en cuanto al peso. Muy ágiles de usar y muy buen corte. Incluso corta ramas de jazmín secas de 1cms de espesor.

Arrivate in brevissimo tempo, le forbici sono solide e ben fatte, come tutti i prodotti Fiskars. Le adopero per rifilare glicini, siepi e ulivi ornamentali e vanno molto bene. Angolazione tra manici e lame pressoché perfetta.

Resistentissima e super affiatata

Dès la prise en main de cette cisaille a haie de la marque Fiskars, on a déjà une impression de qualité, c’est une première impression très positive. Les 2 poignées anti-dérapantes offrent une bonne ergonomie et un bon maintien, les 2 lames en acier glissent l’une sur l’autre très précisément sans jeu au niveau de l’axe. Les 2 lames en acier sont bien affutées et semblent résistantes, j’ai taillé ma haie de lauriers avec parfois quelques branches épaisses, les lames ne sont pas marquées ou émoussées. A l’usage cette cisaille a haie est confortable à utiliser, parce qu’elle est assez légère (850gr) et que la longueur des poignées permet de démultiplier la force de coupe, donc les avant-bras ne sont pas trop sollicités. En conclusion, cette cisaille a haie est un très bon outil, en plus le prix est très abordables, je ne peux que recommander. ✅Points forts.
