Great floor for a home workshop / storage room - not too sure I would use in a garage with cars
I used 5 boxes in a basement workshop / furnace room / storage room. I had 1' square VCP tiles I installed 20+ years ago but the glue became brittle and the tiles were popping up. I liked that material but they run over $2/sft, are brittle, and are a lot of work to install so I looked into many, many flooring options. I went with this product and think it was the right move for my situation: - Interior basement floor, will never see sun and the temp is nearly constant - Can be removed / recut if needed to accommodate a different furnace, water heater, or big shelf that I want to anchor - Looks decent and cleans/sweeps easily - ships/sold by Amazon proper (better faith if returns needed) - made in the USA from recycled rubber I didn't follow the install directions literally, I started at the edge you encounter when walking in since I wanted that to set the line and look for the rest of the layout. Along the front edge I trimmed the little tabs off for a clean look, but didn't along the left and right walls which fit perfectly without any trimming (luck). The back wall and around a few obstacles I had to cut tile - it's only 4mm thick but like cutting through a hockey puck. You can't just score and snap these like drywall, you need to cut through them. I tried utility knife with drywall square (requires perfect alignment from cuts on both sides), angle grinder (just no), and had the best results with small tin snips. The right combination of sharp and leverage (helped to wear gloves). Other random thoughts: I don't think these would be good in a garage that gets sun or used for parking cars, especially where it snows. Water/salt will get under and it's not a quick task to take them apart. Maybe once a year pulling the floor out in big sheets to do a cleaning but seems like a lot of work. My garage is epoxy (Rust Bullet) which is a pain to install but no worries on expansion, water trapped, shoving tiles, etc. These tiles in an interior room or utility shed I think is the ideal use, just have options on how to cut them and be realistic on your expectations with this very low cost flooring solution.

Good product, made in the USA
I installed these on my garage floor. They snap together easily although using a rubber mallet makes it even easier. The tiles are dense, hard rubber and appear to be good quality. I originally planned to cut them to fit along the walls using a utility knife. This might have worked but, due to the denseness of the material, probably would have been difficult. I cut them using a portable table saw and, if possible, I recommend you cut them that way. Good clean cuts and much easier.

Pretty darn good!
Looks amazing. Super simple and quick to install. Water can get underneath but seems to dry fast if you leave the garage open. It does curl/warp under direct sunlight, but seems to go back to position when not in sunlight anymore.

Fabulously easy to install
Day One: I had this one pack installed in my greenhouse in 20 minutes. Used a thumb to snap the pieces together. The hard part was lifting the filled 6 gallon hydroponic reservoir to get the pieces positioned underneath. They slid nicely on the fake turf. They are good, stiff plastic and do not fold or bend easily. I did not need to cut these, so I cannot attest to how easy it is to cut. 8 pieces were the size advertised 18"x18". First wipe with a cloth came away clean. No unexpected residues were on the tiles. I'm looking forward to being able to keep the greenhouse cleaner than it was, and no more wet knees from kneeling on the turf when it's raining outside.

Disappointed as the tiles have swelled in summer heat
I purchased these and installed them in our garage during winter. I was very pleased with the results. However, as the summer approaches and the temperature is increasing the tiles have expanded dimensionally. This has caused them to bunch up at the seams to the point that they present a tripping hazard. Also, under my old hobby car (1959 Triumph TR3) which leaks a typical amount of oil for an old sports car, the tiles have swelled dramatically to the point that the seams have completely separated. I suppose my only option is to pull them all out and reapply them with adhesive, or to toss them, but since I paid over $2k to cover the garage this option is less attractive. Needless to say I would not recommend these for garage usage.

Bought these tiles to cover the plywood floor in our potting shed. These are well made rubber tiles for their thickness. A bit tough to cut. Utility knife and straight edge made cutting easier. The tabs really lock each tile in place. Using a mallet or banging them in with your hand.makes installation easy .Seamless looking floor. Easy to sweep and wash.

Using it as my flooring for office space in garage. Absolutely solid product. What went wrong with this product line? Why such a massive difference in the color shade? I have posted this question to the supplier and they haven’t been able to advise. Very disappointing - looks so ugly now..
