This product is listed as a 20 lb kettlebell. However, the user guide states that one of the weights has to be removed to use it as a kettlebell, meaning that it is really just a 10 lb kettlebell. The user guide also states you can buy a special handle and attach each weight to the handle and use it as a 20 lb DUMBELL. Also, the shape and size of the weight and handle don't allow you to do traditional kettlebell exercises; i.e. the squat exercise that calls for the round kettle base to be cupped in your palms while you do a squat and lift it overhead or the exercise that calls for you to lay on your back doing a one armed chest press (the disc is too wide and bangs into your neck or side of your face).

This was a good idea but a terrible design. The handle is so much bigger than a normal kettle bell and it’s bulky. The sandbags shift while swinging. It doesn’t feel secure.

Best kettle bell ever especially for a home gym. With its doughnut shaped sandbags, there is little danger of breaking something or damaging furniture. Additionally, the weights can be added or removed in increments of 7.5 lbs units to bring the total to 23.5 lbs. A wonderful piece of engineering and a very clever design.

I bought this for my wife for safety reasons since we have two toddlers who are very curious about the things we use. I thought this would be great for safety reasons, however the piece that screws on to tighten the weights does not tighten all the way which cause the weight to shifts.

Wish this item had spacers to add when you remove weights to keep the load from shifting so badly.

Concerned about the weights staying on when I swing. When I don’t have the full weight on there, the weights slide around and the tightening mechanism isn’t sturdy enough for me to have faith in it long term. It’s a great concept and I use it frequently, but I am concerned about it failing at some point.

It is a little bit bigger than the kettle bells that I used in the gym, but that's the trade off for being able to adjust the weight. I like that I can also use the weight rings separately off of the handle for other exercises.My only warning is to make sure the handle is screwed on tightly when using it and check it throughout your workout. My came unscrewed some and I'm glad I checked it before it came completely apart.Overall I'm happy with this and recommend it.

Works well for what’s needed. I understand that it will not function like a true kettlebell. the extra softbells work as lower weight dumbells.
