Sets up just like an official ms controller. Buttons, switches etc work exactly as required BUT seems a bit over sensitive out of the box. Perhaps needs a bit of calibration on the PC/software side.

I perhaps was unlucky as reading the reviews suggest the product is great, I only managed about 3 hrs play time before mine developed a fault (which could happen to any product from any manufacturer). So I am not going to flame it as I was quite impressed. Not quite as responsive as my Xbox One controller but it was a third of the price. I could have put up with the slight difference if it had not developed the fault of clicking the thumb button which also caused the green button to depress. I did test with my original failing XBox one in case it was a game fault, but it was on testing the new gamepad. So quite impressed when it initially worked well. Not confident enough to buy again even though I may have just been unlucky. So gone with another manufacturer in case. But the reviews seem good so don't let my unluckiness put you off it's certainly worth a go for the price and quality at that price point. Microswitches seemed nice and responsive etc and good movement on everything.

Looks almost indistinguishable from the Xbox 360 original controller other than not having the green X logo on the centre button. Good value for money, works with Xbox and with PC in exactly the same way as the original controller. For example, when playing Red Dead Redemption 2 Online (on the PC), the controller vibrates when standing over/near interactive items such as animal carcasses, pickups or collectibles. For items with weaker triggers, I can barely feel the vibration at all. With stronger triggers the vibration isn't as strong as my previous (Xbox original) controller was though it is still reasonably noticeable. For this reason I've put four stars rather than five.Pound for pound and disadvantage considered, it's still good value for money, I'd be perfectly happy to buy another one if I needed it.

This is an example of a Excellect Budget Wired USB X-BOX 360 for PC or Laptop which compares to the more expensive models.The USB Lead is exceptionally good, with a good thick layer of Insulation connected to a very sturdy well made USB connector, and surprisingly well balanced.It feels good to hold, just the right weight and balance. Considering it has an ample 6 Foot 6 Inch wire length exactly right for a Inaccessible USB port on the back I.O plate.The Analogue stick's are good quality with a satisfying click to boot. Sensitivity of the Sticks are good, not loose or sloppy nor tight and over sensitive.The X,B,Y,A Buttons are excellent quality, very reactive.The D Pad reacts with the a deliberate feeling to the action, not sloppy or hard to push.The same can be said for the X-Box button which displays the player's Icon with the usual green light against the player's number, and operates the built-in Xbox Game Bar on Windows 10The triggers are great, there not to springy and sensitive enough for most games.The bumbers are ok, a little hollow but responsive. The Start & Back buttons are also reactive with no need to push on them hard.Overall compared to the Official X-BOX Wireless Controller I would give the controller 9 out of 10, and 10 out of 10 compared to other USB X-BOX 360 controllers of comparable price in my experience.Again, overall I would buy this individual item again, and would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone looking for a replacement without spending twice the money.

It works, but it doesn't last. I started getting insane drift at first, and then it would keep disconnecting after a year or so of use. It did the trick at the time, and will work in a bind. But if you can afford it, go for something with a bit more longevity.

I've gone through several controllers in my time, and so I know what makes a good one.This one arrived three days early in nice simple packaging. Plugged it in, waited less than a minute, and it was ready to go.Lives up to the classic original controller design with no issues. Light weight, confortable in the hands, no aches or pains after using it for a few hours straight (easy to do during this lock down).Buttons and control sticks are responsive and feel robust. The sticks have a rubber top with very good grip, so no slipping when you're fingers are sweaty and you're trying to get that final combo in. The shoulder buttons are nicely "clicky" which is nice for me and tells me they are doing their job.The cable is long enough that you can stretch out move around and not be shackled to the screen. The headphone jack means you can immerse yourself and not bother anyone else when ever you need, right where you're sitting.The dual shock feature is very nice for feedback to make those intense gaming moments resonate with you a little more.Overall, great product, exactly what I wanted, with no issues. Would recommend.
