While this would be great for a 3d printer, there is far too much play in the bearing to slide rod for a cnc router that puts varying back pressure on it. I should have spent more to get something with a wider bearing support. I just bought the stuff to make my own Z axis now to replace this. That all said, it is a good product just keep design limits in mind, I am giving it 4 stars, as while it is a good product, it didnt work for my purpose even though marketed it would in Q&A section.

The part is machined more solid than expected, also heavier than the images make it look like. Runs smooth and easy. Great deal. Customer service replies pretty fast during office hours in CN, they are happy to provide drawings if things are unclear.

First of all Heechoo has one of the best customer support services you will receive and I mean it. I bought the actuator from them and they even gave me another one that was used as a gift for free! They responded through ALL of my questions as I was designing my product. They also gave me a free replacement coupling to fit my smaller motor shaft. Second, their product is definitely better than I expected especially for the price. The ball screw and linear shafts are made very precise and there is barely any play. The ball screw nut has a built in pre-load so their should not be any play or backlash for driving forces. Not sure how much force it can handle but i'm sure it can handle alot since the design is well built for it. The best part of it is that this specific actuator comes in with a set of limit switches , a dust cover, a motor bracket, and mounting holes all in one package! This makes it so convenient to use for any applications and no additional machining is required! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. Bought one unit to test, and it worked great for my application. Amazon did not have enough for my entire application, so contacted the vendor through Amazon. They were extremely fast to respond, and even offered to make a custom mount for my motors (for a very fair price). Very responsive and very quick shipping. Will be using again in the future.
