Amazing Stand, Amazing Customer Service.
I had a issue with installing the base spike for carpet, I was tightening things up in the wrong way, and made it unusable. I reached out to them directly. They immediately mailed me new pieces, and emailed me about it. I was able to install successfully with the new pieces they sent. Amazing customer service experience, although I wish they update the instruction paper, to avoid confusion.

Don't let any negative reviews put you off! Very Very Very solid!
I have a set of KRK Generation 3 Rokit 8's on these stands. I am very happy with their performance, build quality and all the height options and foot adjustments. They were very easy to assemble and have proven rock solid on my carpeted area with their spikes. I used to have my speakers on the isoacoustics as a way to lift them off my desk, but I ended up sending those back because of a defect. I am glad that I did because The OnStage can do so much more. They get your speakers off your desk (obviously) and that helps to mitigate any undesired extra resonance. It is like a night and day difference. I am not a fan of pseudo bass that comes from rattling. Before I go on too long, just go for these. Stop the comparison shopping, these are the ones you want that are solid, height adjustable so you can get them into the sweet spot and offer a very wide platform up top so even 8 inch speakers can fit easily.

Stellar Product - Out Out This World Customer Service
I searched and searched for speaker stands for my studio. Most were made of wood, expensive and could not be adjusted. For accurate sound, the speakers need to be placed in specific relation to the ear - obviously this changes based on speaker size/configuration. Wanting to be smart with my money and not wanting to buy stands later if my monitors changed, I knew I needed strong stands where the height could be changed. HARD TO FIND! The next closest stands like these (different brand) cost more for much lower capability - they don't hold as much weight, their plates are too small to be stable and they don't have the same height-adjustable range. These On-Stage stands hold a whopping 100lbs and have OVER-size plates! These are fantastic and waaaay exceeded my expectations. IMPORTANT: One of the stands had shipping damage - I notified The Music People (On-Stage Stands) and Jay in Customer Service resolved the issue quickly and efficiently. He really went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. In this day and age, to find a company that gives excellent customer service, makes great products and truly backs their products, is a rare thing. I liked On-Stage before, but now I am a die-hard FAN and will always look to them first for all my future purchases.

Not bad for the Yamaha HS8's
I have a pair of the Yamaha HS8's and recently decided to get them off the desk and onto some stands. I was hoping to find some wall mounts for them, but I couldn't find anything that looked sturdy enough to hold them securely (they weigh a lil over 20lbs each). I saw that these had a higher weight capacity than most of the others out there. So I decided to try them out. They're certainly sturdy enough to hold the weight of the monitors with no issues. They can be a little wobbly if disturbed as the base is a triangle, but still within acceptable parameters in my opinion. The top plate that holds the speakers is a little smaller than I was looking for (the 9.5"x9.5" size was in the product description, so it wasnt a surprise at all) for the HS8's (they're about 10" x 12"), but that's about as big as you're going to find on any stands out there. I ordered some 10" x 12" aluminum plates to mount to the existing plates to rectify the issue. All in all, it was a good product for the money and as good a fit as can be hoped for the HS8's. A solid 4 stars...

Solid, but definitely not furniture
It was time to get rid of my homemade speaker stands. New monitors were coming, and the 30-pound heft of each monitor called for serious stands. These are up to it. The tripod base comes with both pads and spikes. A few minutes with a carpenter's level and they were nice and flat. The minimum extension is perhaps a little high for larger monitors, but it was just right for me. You could easily raise monitors so they could be heard from a standing position. There are a couple of cable guides that snap into holes in the tubing. They're too small to be of any value--you'll end up using cable ties like I have. The overall impression these give is solidity. Even on carpet, they're steady enough to make me feel a lot better about the security of the speakers. They're perhaps a little crude in appearance--not ugly, but showing their heritage as portable stage gear. If the visual presentation of your studio is important, you'll be looking for bespoke stands. If you just want to get heavy monitors in the right place, these will do it nicely.

Worth the money spent
Using these with my Yamaha HS5 monitors. They've worked well and I'm not worried about them falling off. Assembly was quick and easy.

Exactly what I needed!
These stands a perfect. I have a ho,e studio and needed stands for my monitors for mixing. These have several different height adjustments settings and they came with different feet to accommodate for either carpet or hard surface. The platform for the monitor is very wide and could easily support any size monitor. Honestly I was a little concerned that these would feel cheap and flimsy since they are so inexpensive but, I was wrong. They are very durable and all of the connection points when assemblies tightened up nice and snug with no rattling or wobbling. Considering that in many places online cost well over a hundred dollars for monitor stands, these are a great purchase. I would buy them again (if I ever need to) and would certainly recommend them to a friend.

Excelente producto, el material y el diseño cumplen con una buena funcionalidad y estética. Yo los usó para unos monitores HS7 Yamaha. Como punto a favor pasaron la prueba de un temblor.

One of the bases are built wrong. The holes are on the sides instead of top and bottom! Sending back. No time for this.

At R.4600, it was very competently priced for height adjustable speaker stands. However, it may be noted that even at their lowest height setting, they are taller than most conventional bookshelf speaker stands. Also, the stand column sways if prodded unlike bookshelf speaker stands which remain firmly in place. Also, the base is large so that ought to be kept in mind while purchasing these. No complaint with respect to build quality (for what they are) and they score very high on the value quotient.
