Pink Hawaiian Ginger Alpinia Purpurata Roots and Plants (1Pack Roots (2 Roots))

I was hoping to get these ginger plants for the garden in my Hawaiian home. I have 2 homes, one on the mainland. I had first ordered 4 different plants and, based upon the indicated time of arrival, they would arrive while I was on island. Well, the merchant unilaterally decided to send then early, so I wasn't present when they arrived. When I arrived, they had been sitting in the package on my porch for 4 days. They are very fragile anyway, but these were also now wilted. I planted them but they all died. I returned to the mainland, then came back to Hawaii ... this time, because they are so fragile, I ordered just a pack of roots, again, relied on the asserted time of arrival, but, alas, they arrived late and after I had again left the island. SO, the lesson here is they are extremely fragile, and one can't rely on the merchant's representations regarding shipping. For me, I'm done with this merchant and will go somewhere else.

The first time I received the bulbs they looked like they died after a few weeks, so I requested a replacement. The vendor responded quickly and I received the new bulbs in a short time. One of the replaced bulbs sprouted beautifully and for my surprise, also one of the original ones ended being a late bloomer. Just out them in soil right away, water them daily and be very patient. In the end one out of both packages survived, which was perfect! I am happy with my mini ginger plants and can’t wait to se them flower soon.

Terrible product arrived. Tiny little items that were so small and dried up. Definitely NOT roots Company was bad in returns or replacements. Nothing at all like what I ordered. I won't purchase from them again. Also advise you do the same.

Dry when we received it. Keeps trying to die. It’s growing a bit.

Came very well packaged, really impressed with packaging and how the items were secured in package to avoid damage, looking forward to the beautiful display of flowers I am expecting! I lived in Hawaii for 4 years and just miss the tropical flowers so much, wish I had never left!

Replacement plant is satisfactory.

Nothing grew. Waste of money.

Small, but VERY impressed with condition and packaging, arrived without damage, had actual care instructions. Very professional, legit product. Love this level of attention to detail.
