They are very small, but perfect for a small metal box. The spring version is more secure.Hole placement is critical to function, so double check measurements before drilling.I used #4-36 machine screws to secure them.The latches are designed for a maximum #5 machine screw.

Work great and function properly, but where is the hardware needed for mounting? Luckily I have some leftover screws from some other project. Latch is smaller than you think

I purchased these latches to secure the drawers on my Kobalt toolbox, and the sizing was perfect for this purpose. However, due to the small size of the latches, the second hole is positioned very close to the hinge, leaving little room to apply a second rivet. It's important to note that these latches are designed for light-duty use, like securing drawers, and should not be subjected to heavy loads.

See pic. These dimensions gave a nice snap to the toggle. (Spring Loaded version of latch, not sure about the non spring loaded)These latches work pretty well for a small light duty application.

Once I figured out how to align the two sections, installing them was a breeze. They grip tight and work very well. They also add a nice heavy duty look to a small tool box.

arrived today and the pieces are really small compared to the size mention. good thing the cost was so little, not going to return, and waste my time and money. did not come with screws and to find the correct screws would be so small that will not work for my project.
