Great overall tool.
Overall it's a good all around tool. Not just limited to an Ar but it has most gadgets for them. For the price and good quality you really can't go wrong. Definitely a plus if you're not close to home and need a tool in a pinch.

This tool is the real deal!
Warning:This is going to be a long review.Ok, I usually don't get too excited about a "multi-tool". Have a couple Swiss Army knives and an original Leatherman tool. That's it... But this Real Avid CORE tool for the AR15 caught my attention. So here's my take on this multi-tool for the MSR of America.Everything has frame mounted liner locks, so in use, nothing folds back on ya and pinches the daylights outta your hand. The sight tool is well thought out. The takedown punch is great. I have a very tight pin in my new weapon that defies my thumb! The takedown pin is a blessing. As to the bolt scraper and the carrier/firing pin scraper, ingenious! For those that go to training courses where hundreds of rounds are fired in a day, the scrapers can quickly remedy heavy carbon on the BCG. At home, where I would spend a lot of time cleaning the bolt and carrier with brushes, patches, and solvent, these scrapers remove carbon in seconds. Remarkable.Bolt override and scope turret adjuster is a nice addition. If you ever experienced a case stuck above the bolt, thought rare, is something that can render your weapon usless. People with little experience will grab and yank repeatedly on the charging handle. Bad idea! Only makes it worse! Get the bolt override out and simply rotate to weapon to the right, pointing the weapon down and hook the tool over the edge of the bolt face. Pull the bolt back and the case falls free. Beats the hell outta trying it with a knife! And speaking of knives, I watched a video of a YouTube guy try to adjust his red dot device with a pocket knife. It was outright stupidity! He could've use a penny, and accomplished his task, or used the CORE tool. The cord cutter and bottle opener? I've got that Swiss Army knife remember? Though I suppose every multi-tool must have a bottle opener huh? Must be in the tool rule book somewhere. In conclusion, as stated from the first, I am not a fan of multi-tools. The fact that this tool is the first I've bought in over 30 years might tell you something. Real Avid hit a homerun with this one. The CORE AR15 tool is the real deal. It goes with me whenever I take my MSR out for a run.

Small and light tool for in the field or at home.
Basically, this tool is small and light, doesn't take up too much space and is designed to be clipped to a molle strap (although I must admit that works a bit awkward; personally I would rather clip it to some thinner loop or cord). It has some basic tools to deal with common issues that happen with ARs (since these guns get dirty quickly). If you ever take a whole day rifle class with AR where you shoot a lot, half-way thru the day ARs start jamming due to carbon build up. The tool has an answer to remedy such problems quickly "in the field". It has a pin punch - nothing fancy, but if takedown pins are tight, it helps. It has carbon scrapers - take care of the specifics of Stoner's design. You can use it on the range, but you can also use the scrapers at home (some people like to clean the bolt with lots of chemicals, some prefer to just scrape of the dirt; good option if you get a headache from the chemical odors). There's also an iron sights adjuster. Most people use red-dots or "tactical" scopes nowadays, but BUIS (back-up irons) are still commonly mounted on the rifles. The most common, A2 (4-prong) requires a tool to adjust (well, it's doable with a bullet and a few f-words, but adjuster tool is a god-send.)

Solid build quality
Build quality feels higher than the price would suggest. Great tool to keep with your AR cleaning kit and takes up very little space.

Best gun tool to clean your rifle
Makes cleaning your rifle effortless. Has all the necessary tools for cleaning carbon off your firing pin and inside your bolt carrier group. It also has a front sight adjustment tool if you use iron sights. Best money ever spent!
