Long ago I fell in love with Cuban coffee served at a cool cafe somewhere in Los Angeles. Then I found Cafe Bustelo, which is sometimes hard to find at stores. I was happy that Amazon sells them bulk, but the price spiked after only one purchase. This Cafe Morro popped up on the screen and the price looked good, and the colors of the package are similar to Bustelo's colors. I am so glad that I was curious enough to try it! The taste is superb, strong, and ends with a tiny bit of bitterness that is simply beautiful. According to the package, it might be Puerto Rican style coffee.Two of the 24 bricks arrived with air in the packages, but this might be due to Amazon issues. Oversized box with no padding, and the bricks thrown in with another item that most likely bumped into the bricks repeatedly. But I am a guzzler of coffee, so those two bags of yumminess are being consumed quickly.

Use to buy this coffee at $ Gen, but they stopped carrying it. We love it

I first learned about this brand from friends who moved to South Carolina from NYC. They gave me a brick and I've been hooked ever since. There is no other coffee out there that can match the price of $1 per 6 oz brick if purchased directly from the manufacturer. I ordered it through Amazon Prime to safe shipping and handling. I find the coffee to be robust but smooth. It's a bit more granular than espresso but more fine than regular coffee. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!

I do not like acidic coffee and this coffee is not acidic at all. It comes fresh, easy to cut open and dump in my canister. Love the thickness of flavor, I use a Breville espresso machine and make a latte almost every morning. We also make our own version of several national coffee shops at home to save money and this coffee is great for that. This coffee also makes a great cafecito if you like it strong and black. It's the only coffee we drink.
