Good quality, tight around arms
I love that this vest has a front zipper which I had a hard time finding. The stretch is good and it is anatomically designed for a woman. My only complaint is that it is tight around the arms. I bought one for my husband who had the same complaint. I’m guessing this might be by design to keep the water out but hope it’s not too uncomfortable underwater.

Warm and easy to swim in
I bought the woman's vest (size XL = size 14) and the jammers (mens size 2XL). I am 62 years old, 5' 8" tall, and weigh about 150 lbs. I bought this 2-piece wetsuit because the swimming pool water was just too cold for me. When I got the vest and jammers, I tried it on at home and they both seemed to fit just fine -- just a little big and easy to put on.When I wore my 2-piece wetsuit in the pool, I was NOT cold at all. In fact, I was a little warm and I liked the feeling! The suit does add some buoyancy (even though I don't need it). When I started to swim a regular freestyle, the suit did not interfere with my stroke, but it did slow me down. It was like wearing a super-drag suit. In the water, the suit seems to get larger. The draw string in the jammers helps to hold them on. After swimming in them, I realized that I should have probably purchased a smaller vest and probably have purchased a smaller jammer. But, I like the large sizes I purchased because they are very easy to put on. I usually wear a woman's XL or size 16 or 18. The vest is size 14, but I think it runs large.I have been using the vest and jammers for several months. I keep both of them in my pool locker. They both hold so much water that they take about 3 days to dry out. Especially the jammers which seem to hold more water. For this reason, I have stopped using the jammers and just wear the vest over my swim suit. This works very well. The vest keeps me safe from the initial cold shock when getting into the water. I swim 10 lengths with the vest on, then take it off and swim an additional 20 lengths. I love to feel the difference of swimming with a drag-vest and then without it. It motivates me to swim faster! My suggestion to anyone planning to purchase the vest and jammers is to just buy the vest at first. It may be all you need. The size 14 vest is a little large, but I'm happy with the size because it is very easy to put on and take off. If you need more warmth, purchase the jammers.

a quick fix, a few nitpicks, but i like it!
i'm a fireplug kinda guy, and was initially a bit dismayed when i tried on this vest... it was *tight* even i measured my chest... however, this is actually good if i'm just wearing the vest... HOWEVER, if you intend to wear this vest over another suit DEFINITELY order one size larger...i'm also 68" with a short torso, and this vest *barely* reaches my board shorts... it also does NOT have a waist cord loop to prevent the vest from riding up if you're swimming laps or swimming for your board or just plain snorkeling... also, the arm holes are cut a bit small (but not too small) for my big shoulders (from swimming laps every morning)just keep these things in mind: short torso length, no waist loop, and small-cut arm holes... if you're not fireplug pudge like me, then this vest will work for you... the tight fit works for me however, and i can swim a mile with no irritation... will have to sew in a loop though... i did; see the pic - took a short bit of black paracord, melted the ends together, then sewed to the back of the bottom seam (ran the machine back and forth about a dozen times) - voila! much improved!however, considering that these vests are zippered and are well-sewn with good construction, i'm giving it a 4-star rating... and if i wear it out in a year, i'll order another one!

Looks great!! Love it.
This looks even better than it does in the photo. I put it on and now I dont want to take it off. It is so soft, goes on easy and is very attractive (feminine). I am a small busted woman, about a 34A and have an athletic build. I am 5'6" tall and weigh 130. I bought a size 6 in solid black and it fits excellent. It is not too tight and not too loose. This vest makes me look larger in all the right places and smaller in the right places too. I hope they never stop making this top. I havent tried it in the water, but I think it will perform well. I mainly bought it for lake swims when I do triathlons in water temps in the 70's because of the ease of putting it on and the super quickness of getting out of it for the bike part of the race. I own a pair of the Neosport bottoms (size small) and will wear them with this top for my triathlon events. I think it will perform great in water, but even if it doesn't it looks awesome and feels great on. I might even purchase a couple more just in case I can't find it when this one wears out.

It helps to keep me somewhat warmer in aerobics class
I bought this for aqua aerobics in a pool that is about 80 degrees. The 8 was too big (I've lost some weight, so guessing size was difficult). I am currently 5'6" and 140 lbs. The 6 fit much better. It made some difference, although I wish I had spent the extra and bought one with short sleeves. The neck of the 8 gaped a bit at the base of my 70 year old friend (who fit the 8 well). A pocket of water would form and as she moved, the fresh water would go down her back, making the vest less helpful for her.As a scuba diver, I want to remind people that the purpose of a neoprene suit is to not to keep water out, but to fit tightly so that incoming water becomes trapped between the neoprene and your skin. That water warms to body temp and the neoprene insulates the warm water layer. If there is any place that does not fit tightly against your skin, every time you move, the warm water squishes out and cooler water moves in. You not only lost that nice warm water, but now your body wastes its "warm" to warm up the new cool water.Proper fit means that you buy the smallest vest in which you can just barely zip the zipper up. Yes it will feel tight, but once in the water the neoprene stretches a bit. The 8 felt like a tight jacket, but I knew that while the zipper was tight, I would still be able to zip up the next smaller size. Once I tried the 6, I knew that the 8 was too big.

Warmth
It blocks the wind good. I did not think it was much protection from the water until I tried without it on. WOW what a difference!

Good product
Very comfortable, haven't tested in water yet so I will update this review once I do. Good quality, stretchy and true to size.

disappointing: overly snug sizing bought based on reviews
nice construction of this vest but unfortunately I based my size choices on the reviews and sizing chart and its way too snug. I weigh 115 lbs wear a 36A and the size 4 (which is my usual size but based on their chart i should have been a 6) was uncomfortably snug. Reviewers said it would expand in water but I have to be able to zip it up! My best advice it to buy your normal size and disregard the reviews but rather go with measurements on the sizing chart. Although its a nice vest, I've had to send it back and pay $12 shipping to do so.
