For one it is very baggy and heavy to move around in too rings are very fragile and come apart very easily and a third it's better for a costume idea all in all it's a pretty good thing to purchase fairly cheap and somehow easy to maintain

It looks nice and authentic to people who don't study the middle ages. functionality is a bit in question because on a regular belt it slides forward and when you sit up and down the rings pinch you and snap off. Its going to take some modification to make it fit you.I recommend a Vietnam era belt and harness to distribute the weight off of just your hips to over your entire body. tightly tie the two belt loops of the chain mail chausses about 3 inches from the center of the belt on each side with either zip ties or para-chord. The ties will prevent the chainmail from sagging. If the leggings are too long you have to remove a few inches of chainmail from the leggings. If the little foot covers keep flying around as you walk use shoes you do not care about and make a parachord tie off near the tip of the shoe so that you can tie and untie the foot portion of the chain mail leggings to, preventing the foot portions from flying around.

It works better when you add string to help hold it up

Pros- cheap, decent steel rings, came in one piece.Con- the only problem is that the support system doesn't work well out of box. It only attached to belt in front which leaves the leggings half unsupported. Had to buy some steel rings and craft an extra support for the back of the legs before it was battle ready.Gave it a 4/5 only because it's super cheap but not battle ready.Also, I'm 6'1 215 pounds and it's about right so it may run big on anyone smaller. Too small for anyone bigger than me.

These are hard to describe so I'll just say this and let you decide. I am 6'2" and weigh 245. If I wear something like underarmour tights leg length, I can get these on but not over any other clothing. They are pretty long even for me but I think the extra length at the bottom may have a purpose that I'm not aware of. I have not complaints of this product. The chainmail is assembled well and both left and right match. And, of course, they are heavy but that's a good thing.

Out the box one of the leggings near the belt loop had about 5 rows of links disconnected so I had to fix that before even wearing them. They are ridiculously long especially before the links close from the top near the knee. I'm 5'8, the thigh openings went to my knees and the bottom may as well have been a sock as these would only fit someone 6'4+ without significant modifications. The "crimp" or buttoning of the links is terrible, with about 40% of the links having a gap big enough for other links to disconnect. Having worn them for only a few minutes, several sections began to fall apart. This is garbage. The only use for this is for redrafting the entire thing into something else.

These are great mine are the stainless steel and look just like the pictures I just had to remove a few links so they fit my leg length the only thing is all the weight is on your hips which gets uncomfortable really quick as stainless steel is very heavy but all you need to do is just buy some suspenders to help place the weight on your entire body rather than your hips.

The only support holding up the leggings are in the front, which due to the weight, causes them to droop. Would have been much better if there was another support in the back as well. The material quality was good though.

First off this is made of aluminum! Secondly for being butted and the price paid, absolute garbage! Do not waste your time do not waste your money. I refund was not going to be approved unless I left a positive review. This is not how things work and why a cheep product is still available! Do not purchase this in fact for the same cost and I'll assume less wait time 35+ days! You can have a decent butted Maille for the same cost elsewhere that's actually steel!.

Definetely not Stainless steel as advertised, more like very cheap aluminium. Just unpacking it broke some of the rings. The price us ridiculous for this piece of crap...
