King Pure Talalay Latex Mattress Pad Topper (Soft 55K Density, 3" Thick)

Got the medium soft (70k). Place on top of a medium firm latex mattress, this topper really sends the comfort level through the roof. I'm curious about the feel of the softest topper in the line (55k) but at 250lbs, this topper provides great pressure point relief with good support.You must use a mattress topper cover with this topper to protect it. If you just throw a sheet over it, the topper will be damaged by vigorous movement because the sheet will stick to the topper causing you to create small tears in the topper that expand over time. I purchased a bamboo topper cover and it works perfectly. Also, if you want the full benefits of latex then you need some kind of flexible sheet (Sheex, jerseyknit cotton, etc.) which will allow the latex to conform to your body. A traditional cotton sheet has the effect of stiffening up the feel of the sleeping surface.

This 3" Topper adds just enough plush softness to my firm mattress. My new firm mattress was causing back and shoulder pain and a restless sleep. I disagree that it is cool. It still captures and reflects body heat but no where near the amount a memory foam topper does. I placed a thin material pad on top and then sheet. I recommend this topper.

I LOVE this topper! I had to buy a lower grade mattress than I was used to and when I added this topper, I am able to sleep comfortably. AND I now have a Portable item so if I replace mattresses again, I keep my topper! Talalay is SOOOO comfortable compared to other Latex and Memory foam!!! Worth the money.

I look forward to sleeping each night. In years before, I dreaded to go to bed because I knew whenever I woke up whether it be during the night or in the morning, I could not get out of bed without extreme pain.
