WOW! Stuff Collection Rick and Morty Pull String Talking Rick

Hey R&M fans! So if you spotted this doll and you're a fan of the show you want this doll. Don't deny it, you want it and that's ok it's fun and cool. I just want to share with you the pros and cons so you know what you're getting.So here's the scoop: the doll is very cool looking. It's about 10-11" inches and posable. The head is nicely sculpted and well coloured. Rick's lab coat is soft but the pull string goes through it and therefore cannot be removed for cleaning.Now upon opening the doll the pull string didnt work; there's a long plastic tab you have to remove before doll can talk. Batteries are included but I would strongly recommend putting in fresh ones as LR44s are a fickle power source. The battery pack is easy to remove but have a magnet handy because the screw you have to remove is NOT anchored by a washer. If you have children or pets or are mildly clumsy you will lose this screw. Now as to the 20 phrases that are promised...I only have heard 11 distinct phrases and that was only after several pulls as the phrases I did hear repeated themselves in random order. Too bad because even though the sayings are culled from the show's audio they sound loud and clear. Most likely I'll just remove batteries and put Rick on my shelf next to my PKD books.So there you go. I left off a star for those reasons I stated but dont regret buying him. He's a swell little doll and I love the show. I will reach out to the manufacturer and let them know the issues so they may hopefully make improvements for a rerelease or any upcoming characters. I'm just saying if you can spare the bread go ahead and treat yourself...it's been a rough few months and who couldn't use a talking doll?

I am here to inform everyone of this product. The Rick itself is definitely FIVE STARS for me, but the wow stuff collection really jipped you. The box says it says 20 phrases which it does not. I counted them out is, it says 10 phrases. Which I find very annoying, cause I was looking forward to a lot of phrases. Right on the box it says the Rick says "riggedy riggedy wrecked son", It does not. So I suggest to purchase if you don't care about 10 other phrases, I definitely DON'T suggest purchasing if you want other phrases.

I purchased one of these Talking Ricks and when I got it the Rick doll did not speak - very not like Rick Sanchez who is undeniably articulately vulgar in a likeable way (for me anyway). So to say I was disappointed when the second one came in and no talkie Rickie, I was understandably devastated and will never recover from this travesty.I wanted a Tiny Rick - This is the supergenius equivalent of dying on the toilet.

WAY bigger Rick than what I was expecting! I haven’t even taken the plastic off the box he came in. I may buy a 2nd to play with and keep the 1rst on the shelf in the box for forever. Aww Geeze I cannot wait for them to come out with the Morty!!Edit: still waiting on the Morty, but I totally did buy a 2nd Rick. (Going to put a tiny metal funnel on his head) And neither are out of their boxes yet. Consume, Morty, no one’s out there buying anything with this virus!!!

I thought the pull string voice box was a little disappointing due to it’s construction. But overall the doll and it’s likeness was very good and I enjoyed the catchphrases that Rick says except when they were censored..

I was skeptical due to other reviews but I must have gotten a good one. I love this and think it's hilarious. I did notice if you pull the string out too far sometimes it skips over some phrases but otherwise works just fine
