A good value at a reasonable price.
Arrival was on-time.The solar charge controller is well designed. It has two barrel ports for 12 volt output and two USB ports. All features seem to be as advertised. I was able to charge a cell phone and Kindle while charging a 12 volt 10ah sealed lead acid battery without issue. The only drawback, and definitely not a show stopper --- the back lit screen is hard to see in full day light.

Compact. Great Looks. Performing well. So far, very happy.
So far, very happy. I bought this to freshen one of the hobby solar systems that I have built.Aesthetics:++Display is gorgeous.++No obnoxious LEDs (perfect for sleeping nearby aka camper applications)+just the right amount of backlighting+thin. Less than an inch tall. ~6"x3.5"x 1" (see photo. Cola can and car plug for scale)-Voltage readout sampling is a bit fast. Great for real-time voltage but can be distracting if inside of your peripheral vision.Build:++Feels very sturdy. Solid polymer plastic.++flip up shield over connection terminals feels stronger than it looks.+terminals are higher quality than others i've used. Wiring took seconds and could be done with 1 hand.-thin heat sink (probably fine based on <20A use.Function:The Red power button controls load output. So you can leave USB or 12v plug devices connected but not draining the battery. This also controls the wired terminal output although my cheap analog multimeter shows some voltage even when the button is set to 'off'. (Switching the button to off drops the terminal voltage from 12v down to around 3v. NB. This may be normal, I'm no electrician)Only issue that I have had so far is that I had to power cycle it once to turn the USB output back. It hasn't been a problem since. In addition to topping off my Duracell 600HD, I'll be using this to charge phone backup batteries and run a tiny fan near my desk.I'll update this review if it ever deserves to lose any stars. If not you may assume that I am still very happy with it.

Charges a battery and my mobile devices well
Works great as a solar charge controller for the SLA battery I got. I'm mostly using it for the USB ports to keep my mobile devices charged.Intended for it to run two attic fans, but their startup current is too high, together they exceed 20A. FYI, this controller will not allow more than 20A even momentarily. Instead of running my attic fans, I'm using this as a built-in "off grid" charging station in my home.

Avoid this one
Lasted about 4 months with a 7 amp panel, and was only used several weeks during that time. I've been working with solar power and using solar on my RV for 19 years and this controller is worthless.

Three Stars
It works well !

led readout under most conditions is excellent
love the price, had several of these controllers for different applications none have failed or disappointed me.

good value - if it works
I don't know if it's working or not. The moon (nighttime icon) displays even when the panel is in full sun, often but not always. Does that mean it doesn't recognize the panel, or that the battery doesn't need the juice? The display remains lit all the time which causes unnecessary drain to the battery. It clearly does not work to simply pass current through from the panel to a load unless there is a battery attached - it is after all called a charge controller so that is just a limitation, not necessarily a flaw. The output on/off button is finicky and doesn't always work. And, I would think that after a day of charging in the sun, the battery voltage display would show a higher number than at the start of the day, but it tends to be the same or lower. So, like I said, it seems like it works, but I can't prove it yet.

I recommend it
This is now the second of these that I've purchased and installed. The first one was in a trailer I sold and worked great for years. This one was to replace a (different manufacturer) controller that was part of a kit I installed in our new trailer. Super easy install and works great. Having the back lit screen is really a plus as you can get a voltage read out at night. It does lack the adjustability of other models, but I'm not sure I care. It just works. I've never hit 20A, the most I've seen is about 7A. I would think that I should be able to get more as I have 2 100W panels on the roof, but it isn't an issue. It keeps my batteries topped up indefinitely.

still working well
1 year as past since I bought this PWM controller and still holing my 2 180W solar panel very well on my camping trailer , I do get a lost Having 30volt panel but I do not care solar is free and I am not affcting the environement with that lost . very good product , recommended for small 12 volt solar setup or biger where the lost of a PWM controller is well known and accepted.

Easy to read in the dark
I purchased this controller a little while ago. It works great and is super easy to operate. All information is on the display, without going through menus upon menus to get to the status of the battery. A bonus is that the display is LED, which makes it super easy to see in low light or the dark. The terminals are also great and hold the wires securely(using crimp on connectors) I like this controller so much I just ordered another one for my trailer(2 separate batteries)Great controller for the price!

Doesn’t Register Solar power input or distribute output. LCD way too dim
This thing is just another piece of Chinese junk. Doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. So annoying
