This book has been everything i needed to help me with my anxiety. The time and detail needed helps me take my mind of other issues and focus on the book. This book may not be for everyone. Each picture has two different backgrounds.. one will be black and the other white, but the white one has the lines in a pale gray and they are difficult to see.. If you have vision issues, you will have issues though the black version of each picture is easy to see. I do have to put on my glasses to color in this book. I do love the pictures which are very detailed and the areas are very small so not for the faint of heart.

Complicated but fun. With there was a doberman option.

Loved this book. Offers two drawings each with a black or white background, and you also have the option of coloring each dog with as much detail as you'd like.

Love the black pages, as nothing goes through them to the next pic.

Just came yesterday so I haven't had a chance to color in it yet. Each picture is done twice. Once on a black background with dark lines and on a white background with pale lines. I will enjoy both pictures. The author asked on one of my groups for honest reviews. I like this book, it is worth the money. I will add pictures if I figure out how. This is my first review.

I love your coloring books and y'all are by far the best around. Even thinking about buying the "Dogs" one again I enjoyed it SO much. Keep up the great work and hopefully you will come out with "Dogs 2"James

This is a great adult (or older child) coloring book. There are 25 different dog breeds here, with each of the designs being really detailed. You get two pictures of each breed to color - one has the design printed gray on white paper and the other has the design printed in black on black paper. I find the gray on white paper to be better for coloring with pencils because they make a lighter mark against the gray outlines of the details. I find the black better for coloring with markers because the colors look bolder against the black paper. The paper is a nice weight - not too thin, not too thick. A big plus here is that the designs are not printed on both sides of each sheet, so you can color with pens and markers without worrying about the ink bleeding through. This is great for dog lovers age 10 and up and will provide many hours of coloring fun.

This book is for the serious player. I have started one of the pics and it is very absorbing and intense, I sometimes have to walk away for a while to get fresh eyes and of course coffee!! Saying that, watching the picture emerging is very exciting. If you stick to each space or segment being a different colour you will need some finer tipped pens or gels. I love my new hobby.

The book is good and as it says is very complicated due to all the detail. Which I like. However I have taken 1 star away as I dont like the way each picture has a second copy to colour in. One picture would have been better and then allowed room for other breeds of dog to colour in also.

Love it, great fun and good quality thick pages book. I love the black pages to go really funky with colours. Only a small thing, but some of the dogs are a bit strange/funny looking, I myself and my boys found them funny tho.

The pages are a bit flimsy and I really don't get why there are 2 pages, one with darker lines and one with lighter lines (seems a waste of pages). I had hoped this would be a good book, especially as it says "A Complicated Canine Coloring Book". I wouldn't call it "complicated" ... just a bit strange and hard to decide what colours to use on the pictures. I would not refer this book to serious colouring book colourers.

A well produced book, paper quality is good and I love the black background, although I didn't really think I would. Sadly there are a few of the pics that do not excite me but hey, isn't that always the case?On the whole a good quality colouring book.
