Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis - Xbox

This game is a nostalgia moment in my video gaming life. As a diehard fan of the movies, the chance to build and control the lives of dinosaurs in my own Jurassic Park was a dream to behold. I had no greater pleasure than reliving the movie just one more time. It may not be up to par with the Hi-Def, rich-storied, or customizable games of the present-day, but it is a sim game I will treasure.The game goal is to build and expand the first five-star Jurassic Park utilizing the guidance of such faces as John Hammond as helping aids. You begin with picking excavation teams to dig for fossils, used to genetically create your dinosaurs in hatcheries. You have the option to pit harbivores and carnivores together in large enclosures and can subdue angry, violent animals with the help of your own chopper. Take a trip on an air balloon from the safety of the sky, or race around the T-Rex pin with a Safari Cruise vehicle. Provide anemities and gift shops for your tourists as the larger the number of paying vacationers and thrill seekers, the large the star rating. Fight the forces of natures as diseases, storms, and draughts will challenge your park's survival. What a great game!

ITS OKAY

First the product arrived late, once I opened the product I immediately noticed the product was not new as was advertised. Booklet was damaged and game had been professionally restored but still didn’t work.

My son used to have this game for the gamecube and thoroughly enjoyed it. Through way too many dino battles, the disk finally wore out. When he found it for the XBox he talked me into ordering it for him. The disk came just as promised and was almost brand new as promised. He is back to creating new dinosaurs and fighting with the old ones. One of the best purchases we've made.

Even though it says it can play on the xbox 360 it didn't. 1 1/2 on phone with support. No go. Had to look for an original xbox and finally got to play. Fun game when we finally got everything together. ...

I bought this game for my kids, who are dinosaur/Jurassic Park fanatics. They enjoy the game very much. Sort of like Zoo Tycoon as far as setting up and running the park, but with some action and cool dino stuff. They're happy with it.

It doesn’t even work

I love this game and it's in great condition! Only issue I've had is every so often it will freeze or an error will come up but that's easily solved with saving your game every few minutes! But what do u expect from a used game that's about 10 years old! Thanks

Absolutely love this game just trying to find a manual for it. Game came in perfect condition and came quick a+++
