Works great!
I used this magic eye tube in an antique radio restoration. This tube has an octal base; many of the original magic eye tubes in US antique radios had a 6 pin base, so the base/wiring harness going to the tube had to be reworked. I had done my research and was aware of that prior to getting this tube. The tube works great; nice and bright! If anything, it has a bit more gain than the original tube, as the tuning pattern will overlap a bit on very strong stations. A couple of resistors as a voltage divider were added under the radio chassis to scale the signal down, and it works just as it should. I recommend this tube for antique radio restorations if you're willing to make the base/wiring harness modification if your radio needs it.

No Workie
Item came with a slight cloud on the side of the glass. Tested in a known good socket with known good tube and no workie. Confirmed correct wiring for this pin placement. I was hopeful. Luck of the draw I guess. Seller was great and was able to return.
