BESTSUN Penlight Mini AAA Super Bright Handheld LED Pen Flashlight Pocket Torch Light 1000LM (13.5CM.=5.13IN.)

Fantastic light for the price, lightweight and bright with a decent battery life.I've been EDCing this for about 6 weeks and there are just couple tiny things keep it from being perfect.the body is light and rugged. The knurling on the tail cap and close to the bezel is good and positive with out being too aggressive. This light is 3 pieces, the head bezel, body tube, and tail cap, both seams are sealed with an o-ring. the tail cap also has a small lanyard loop.This light takes 2ea AAA batteries, the batteries do rattle inside the body. This doesn't effect the function in anyway but it does bug some people. a little strip of tape fixes that.I wish the clip sat a little higher on the body so that it sat lower in the pocket but again a small nit pick. I used a strip of electrical tape to fix the clip to the body, just so it doesn't pop off.The tail switch has a very positive click. The switch has more of a momentary off. If the light is off you get no light until the long press to power. when the light is on, light pressure will switch the light off until pressure is released. I understand the reason for it, but I would much rather have a momentary on rather than off.I realize these are pretty much just nit picks but this light is really good and the tiny things are really the only things "wrong" with it.

When I opened the package I was very disappointed as to the size of the flashlight. It was much smaller than I expected. Then I put the batteries in and turned it on. WOW! This is a huge amount of light in a small package. I was very pleased.Here is the only con.... at work I had the light on for a while and it got hot. Very hot. The batteries got so hot. I'm thinking about drilling some vent holes to see if it will help it cool down because I really love the size and brightness of this flashlight. Hopefully it helps.Update..... drilled holes in the body of the flashlight and it helped! Stays much cooler!

I have an Ugsby flashlight like the one shown in the pictures and ordered this to keep in my pack. This is a bit bigger around. A bit longer also. It is not an Ugsby. It may work fine, but I know that the Ugsby will last.Just not happy that they substituted what was displayed.Returning

This light is nice for what it is and what I paid for it. Very bright - I'd say somewhere in the 80-120 lumen range (so the product description is probably pretty accurate). I purchased mine from Lin Electronics for about 13 bucks. I have since purchased another similar light from another listing for around half that price. This one ended up being the actual product in the picture (it had the Hugsby logo on it, the other one had some random combination of words) and this one felt/acted a little higher quality - the LED was much warmer and closer to white light while the other cheaper one looked blue. Overall this is a nice little light to throw in my bag or pocket - very bright yet still small. I also like the design of the tail cap in that it seems like it would stop the light from accidentally going off in your pocket (mine hasn't done that yet), however, I don't think it's really meant to tail stand and its seems like a slight design change would allow it to. It will just barely tail stand and is wobbly because the switch sticks out about half a millimeter too much. Still a decent light for the price. Would be cool to see this same design with multiple brightness levels, but no complaints on that - description says it's only one brightness level so you get what you order.

This thing is every bit of the projected lumens it states. I carry it every day at work and most of the time it is bright out I just have to see inside or on top of large machines from a good bit away. Shines through the daylight into the dark areas perfectly. I will say that it does get hot after about two minutes of continuous use. I've left it on for about 5 minutes just to see and it got hot but still no problems. Overall for the price I mean c'mon give it a shot.

this is the xp-2 version,i also have the xp-1 version (1 aaa)battery that I carry in my pocket all the time and comes in very handy when I need a light.i have used it quite often. I have this one by my bed that I use in case I have to get up for some reason at night.both of these lights are very bright and economical. I would tell anyone who needs a small but very bright light to buy either one of these lights.

I would give it a hundred stars if I could. I love this little light. Super bright! Very handy size! Now here is the really cool part: we accidentally ran it through the washing machine and it still works!! It simply doesn't get better than than that. I am quite sure the manufacture wouldn't recommend doing that, nor would I, but that tells you how well built this little light is! If you are on the fence buy it! Buy it! You won't regret it. Sometimes you read reviews where people received the product for free to review. NOT THIS ONE! I PAID FOR IT WITH MY OWN HARD EARNED CASH! Check out the wide diversity of my reviews if you are worried about fake reviews...I DON'T ALWAYS GIVE OUT FIVE STAR REVIEWS! We just moved, and I'm not sure where it is. If I can't find it, I'll buy another one. Its that good. The clip will pop off, but that's no big deal because it pops right back on!

I purchased 2 lights and product function well the first couple of times but immediately noted it was not meant for everyday use. On one of the light the switch is already skipping a beat and the other one is not as bright. For battery life I'll say they are decent and construction wise, a good quality built overall. The switch is the problem on the ones I received. I'll give it 2 stars just for the construction. But I would not buy another one.
