I grew up in Nawlins and love this brand of beans and peas. I'm not exactly sure but this brand tends to be very creamy and very delicious. My mom would cook these every New Year and a couple times during the year. Yummy:-)

Clean, relatively fresh for dried peas (sometimes dried peas are old, tough) - cooked up tender and flavorful.

Good just follow the instructions to presoak and have a god recipe.

I didn’t realize they were dry peas when I purchased them, so I had to soak them in water for a while before cooking them. But they were delicious! Great price for a lb. of peas.
