no way that 4.47 grams of culture is going to turn 25 gallons of milk into yogurt
I like the yogurt it makes, but there is some serious miscalculation in the yield.The Cheese Connection responded to a query about the yield on the 4.47 gram foil packet saying to use 1/4 tsp and it would make up to 25 gallons of milk-->yogurt."How many grams per packet?Answer:4.46 grams for 25 gallons on milk.By The Cheese Connection LLC SELLER on September 24, 2021Question:The picture seems to show individual foil packets. The make one to two gallons of milk into yogurt you can measure out 1/4 teaspoon of culture and reseal the pouch."Even if you stretched this to ¼ tsp for 2 gallons of milk, you'd only get ~18 gallons.
