Complete blackout with easy application
I’ve used portable suction cup blinds and some other Velcro type blinds, but this is the best of the bunch. I’ve bought two and recommended it to others. You get more than an ample supply of Velcro tape which sticks strongly to your window frame. The tape adhesive does melt in high temperatures, and over summer will need pressing back down or replacing. The Velcro sticks strongly to the blind, and it’s very easy to use. Also been handy for covering up annoying LED/indicator lights! My air purifier is like a Christmas tree, but a couple of strips of Velcro and I can cover it up unless I need to see it.Very easy to cut with a pair of scissors, but I’d recommend some wallpaper/longer scissors as I made a hack of my first one.

Simple and effective
This is a very simple method of creating blackout compared to say a roller blind, and it does the job very well - basically one attaches self-adhesive Velcro tape to the window frame or surround, and the supplied fabric sticks to it wherever it makes contact. The manufacturer recommends a big overlap of fabric beyond the Velcro strip, and this is needed, partly because the strip itself is translucent and therefore has to be completely covered to create the blackout effect. The fabric is certainly completely light-proof, and for me this has provided a very good solution for a large French window in a bedroom. I don't know yet if the fabric and the tape will wear well, but I don't see why not.

Brilliant!
We have found this to be the best solution so far! Velcro holds in place and we bought towel clips to hold up when rolled up in the daytime. Looks like blind from the outside and not a flapping mess like some blackouts do. I’m really impressed and the quality of the fabric is great too. Definitely worth the money and effort if you like a very dark room when sleeping

Good
Not bad and they really do keep out the day light which I need for working on my laptop while working in the kitchen, have some left over now thinking of putting some up in my small window in my bedroom.

Works really well.
Works really well. I have bought two of these now in different sizes.I really like it that the whole one side of the material sticks to the velcro tape which is applied to the window frame. It makes it easy peasy to put the blind up as there is no need to fiddle around and try to line things up exactly. This is particularity handy, if like me, you take the blind down in the morning and put it back up every night.Another plus it is does not have the strong plasticity smell that some blackout blinds have (which usually gets worse when the sun shines on them!). This has more a cotton smell and feel to it.Blocks the light very well too. Lets me sleep deeply even in the mid summer here in the North of Scotland where the sun hardly goes down at all.I tried many solutions and this is the best one I found.William Fergus Martin, AuthorForgiveness is Power: A User's Guide to Why and How to ForgiveKindle VersionForgiveness is Power: A User's Guide to Why and How to Forgive

Really does block the light
Brilliant product. It really does block out the light. Really easy to fit, all of 10 minutes to put up the tape and then adjust the blind fabric. I have just put up a top strip of tape and attached the fabric by just this one piece and it stays up fine. I have black out blind fabric curtains already in place in my children's rooms but during the summer months they are not sufficient to allow them to drift off to sleep at night time. I needed a quick fix for my 4 year old and thought I'd try these. Brilliant idea. The fabric has a slightly flocked backing with adheres really well to the hook and loop tape. I put my tape onto my painted wall rather than around the entire plastic frame. (we will be re plastering the bedroom walls soon so I doesn't matter if the tape damages the paintwork for us) This allows me to quickly pop up the curtain at night and carefully pull it away during the day. Would buy again and have recommended this product to others already.

This really works!
I was a tad sceptical about this product but I wanted to block out the light from one of my bedrooms which faces east and spring/summer sunsine wakes me up much too early.I took my time to install it on UPVC windows, following the instructions and gave the velcro tape 24 hours to set. There was more than enough velcro tape to do the job with some spare as well as the wooden window velcro pads should I need to them. It does takes a bit of effort fitting the black out material tightly to the velcro to block out the light but it is 100% effective. All I have to do now is work out how to block the light coming around the door!!

Finally, the perfect solution!
I have chronic insomnia and recently moved into a house that has beautiful fitted blinds. I found I was waking at 4.30-5am every morning with sunlight streaming in. The blinds are fitted so closely to the window there was no room for a roller blind to be installed. So I started researching a solution and so glad I found this!Installation is easy, just peel the back from the Velcro and stick it to the top of the window frame and the blind just attaches to it.IMPORTANT!!! The Velcro glue is strong and sticks tightly so make sure you get that bit right first. Secondly, if you need to cut the blinds down, leave 3-4 inches extra around the edges to ensure full black out.You get loads of velcro so could place it all the way round the window if you wanted for perfect black out. The material just peels off and on, attaching to the velcro easily, so I don’t mind removing it each day and popping it on again at night. GAME CHANGER!
