I'm not going to get all wordy and descriptive here, I hate those reviews!! I'll just say, STOP reading reviews and shopping for Baby locks, this is the Holy Grail, this is THE BEST!! FAST & EASY to install and they work on any cabinet!! I've already done all the shopping, trying various different locks and price comparisons. As of Christmas 2015, these are the best and the best price too!!! Save yourself some time and agony and just order them NOW!! You can thank me later LOLNow, in case you're one who likes reading people's personal experiences, you can read on... My 15mo old grand baby was coming to stay with us for Christmas. I did some research and was trying not to spend a ton of money on cabinet locks (more $ for gifts!) However, after trying (and failing) with different hook-type locks, splitting wood with screws, spending hours trying to install these frustrating things, only to realize that with the way our cabinets meet the overhanging counter tops, I was the only one with small enough fingers to get them open! :OSo then it was the day before her arrival and I miraculously found these!! I priced them out all over the place and this was the very best deal at the time. I ordered them with next-day delivery. They arrived in the morning and I installed all 21 locks in under an HOUR!!! No drilling, no screws, the adhesive is very strong!! They're so easy to line up and worked well on all of my various cabinets. The coolest part is after Christmas and the baby went back home, these have a switch on the lock to stay in the unlocked position!! Like magic, the locks are virtually "gone" until the next baby visit when I'll just flip them back into locking mode!! I LOVE these!! They may be more than the hooks but are WELL worth every penny!!!Why are you still reading this??? Just order them and don't look back!!! hahaha

These are fantastic - much easier to install than the type you have to screw in. The adhesive holds really well, I pulled and pulled and it takes a lot more force than any child would have to be able to tear either portion from where it's set. It is a little cumbersome to install - which is why I had to give it 4 starts. Aligning the parts just so takes a little effort, but once you get it down, it's easy enough, and really works. For thicker cabinets - our have moulding - it does take some effort to get the magnet to engage the lock, but it always works eventually. To date these are the best child safety locks I've found.

Simple if not put on wrong way/direction; double stick adhesive impressive. I did have to move 2 after confusing application, one of which took several tries to take off and attempt to replace and pulled paint off cupboard and adhesive ripped off one piece. I tried gluing the adhesive but it caught the lock. I still had enough and am impressed with the adhesive strength as these almost looked to easy to apply after realizing how difficult the screw on latches can be. They definitely close and should keep out children and mice. I wish there were more in a package anyway and hope that I don't lose track of the key, so magnetic it does stick to metal, no need to stick.

Love these magnetic locks. I previously purchased another brand and they are literally exactly the same, not a single diference except the others have a logo printed on the key, im certain they are manufactured at the same pleace but these are much cheaper. These were the cheapest magnetic locks I could find anywhere and they work perfectly.One other difference I guess I should note is that the others came in a sort of plastic holder case and included extra adhesive backing for future use, where these just came in the packaging by themselves.

Has held up to my hulk of a toddler! So easy to install for our rental home! And the fact that you can turn it off, works when we have friends over after the babies are asleep! Ordered one pack to try and have since ordered 2 more!

Keeps baby out of the kitchen cabinets and keeps my kitchen from looking nice. It also works on adults! My nosy brother-in-law was trying to get into my kitchen cabinets for some reason but he was unable to open them due to this construction!

So far so good! I had been searching for child safety locks for a while and finally decided to settle on this since you can't see it when cabinets are closed, you can put it in "off" position (so no need to remove it), there's no tools required for installation and the low price convinced me. Very quick and easy to install. Would definitely recommend.

These work exactly as advertised. I love that I can leave the locks unlatched when little ones are not at my house. Excellent product!
