Slippery surface
We have a medium size labrador, and although the dog's weight load for the ramp is OK, the surface is slippery for him and gives him nothing to grip onto. The ramp, although lightweight, is not very stable - we have a Ford Ecosport which has quite a low entry level at the rear, and the ramp frame doesn't hook on very well. We are going to stick a layer of carpet on to the ramp to give the dog better grip. It's a shame, as overall it is quite well made.

Damaged our dogs paws.
We have a 110lb Bernese Mountain dog and really needed a ramp to get him in and out the car as he is getting old now. The ramp has a sharp very rough sand paper like surface which after 3 times going up and down it literally sanded off two of his toe pads from his back paw. We didn't even realize what had happened until he started limping and licking his paw. We were shocked to see how damaged his pad was. We took him to the vet and he is now on antibiotics and his paw is bandaged up.

Dangerous for dogs
This item isn’t non slip, my dog slipped on this item and is now at the vets having an X-ray under general anaesthetic with a possibility of an operation as she chipped a bone when she slipped off this ramp! Not impressed!!!

Great dog ramp.
The ramp is so easy to move round and use, my dog was very nervous to begin with but now we wouldn't be without it. Very happy.

Durable but heavy
Quite cumbersome and steep for the dogs who have to be helper up the ramp. It is heavy and would have to go on the backseat of the car if taking it with you.
