OxGord Roof Top Cargo Rack Water Resistant Carrier Bag for Vehicles, 10 Cubic Feet

This is the best roof top carrier and the price is incredible. I needed a roof cargo carrier that I could modify to fit next to my bike on a roof rack. I was moving 2,300 miles and was packed and needed the room. This carrier was perfect. I was able to adjust it to tie right next to my Thule Bike Roof Rack Carrier and fit quite a lot in it. I would guess I had the size around 11 cm. It tied down well and although I kept stopping the first 100 miles to double check my bike and this root top cargo carrier, nothing MOVED AT ALL. Now - IT IS WATERPROOF!!! Those who say it isn't simply didn't set it up correctly! I read one of the reviewers (THANK YOU SO MUCH!) who detailed how to set it up step by step, and that was all it took. It hadn't rained in the midwest - where I was moving from - in 4 weeks - but before i was 150 miles from my old home I hit massive storms. 50+ mile winds and rain that came slanted and in which you couldn't see to drive. I hit this one and off for over 7 hours! When I stopped for gas I checked the items in the carrier and every single thing was dry as a bone!

Used this on a family trip to the beach. Its a 4 hour drive from our house to the beach. The cargo bag was very roomy and gave us enough space in our Durango so we were not bunched in. It attached to the top easily but our cargo rack doesn't have the side rails so we also used bungee cords to cross tie it for added sucurity. It did great we ran into some rain and our things stayed dry. There was a little moisture inside the bag but it was due to the zipper not being zipped all the way. Great bag for the money... I love that its easy to refold and put in the storage bad and stows neatly under the seat.

I used this for one trip and only had bags with no sharp edges, duffel bags and sleeping bags stored in the bag. The bag was not overloaded and had plenty of room to spare. On the first leg of the trip we had trouble getting the straps tight enough so we kept having to stop and re-tighten them. The zipper also slide open, fortunately we noticed this at a gas stop. On the return trip we tied everything tighter and didn't have problems with straps and we also used a twisty tie to hold the zipper closed. However when we started unloading after getting home we discovered the bag had torn and is not repairable or useable any longer. I was able to get a refund from the seller. Update - I have now requested my refund twice and have yet to see my money. Not only don't buy this product but I would not recommend working with this dealer at all.

Loved this cargo rack!!! Ordered early November for our trip to Disney over Thanksgiving. It was great, between the trip there and back from Chicago to Orlando and Orlando to Chicago. When we got home we check the bag there was no rips, no tears and we drove back in pouring rain. everything was dry. For the price it was absolutely amazing and made it easy to drive to and from Disney. It was well worth the price and would definitely recommend this.

The size was beyond my expectations. I was very disappointed to find out that it was NOT waterproof like it claims. Took this on a cross country trip where it either snowed or rained the entire way. Everything was soaked! The thing started to fall apart also. The material is not sturdy or waterproof. As soon as we got to our location, I threw it away. I will not be getting it again. Next time, I will pay the extra money and get an all plastic one

The bag just arrived, so this is the "before use" review. It seems well made, and the price is right. My biggest complaints are 1 - the dimensions listed here are off. The box says it's 31x15x31, but it may even be closer to 30x14x30. It leaves more space around my cargo basket than I expected. I may have opted for a larger 15 cubic feet bag knowing this. and 2 - There are no instructions. I'm not saying this is rocket science, and that there needs to be elaborate instructions for this inexpensive bag, however, almost every other roof bag instructs you to put the side without the zipper facing forward. There's not even anything like this. In fact, the picture on the box has it facing to the side of the car. Maybe this is why there are so many "no waterproof" complaints. Also, 4 of the thinner tie down straps have these latches/clasps, that don't really serve a purpose because they certainly aren't strong enough to trust holding down the bag. It's just something else you have to tie down to keep them from beating your car. If anybody knows the purpose, please reply.

After reading some of the reviews I was concerned about this item but chose to give it a try. I am so glad I did. It worked perfectly on a two day drive from Indiana to Texas, 1000+ miles and 18 hours of drive time. We arrived safely in Texas. Carrier had no tears or rips. We even drove through a severe rainstorm and the contents were dry. In addition to the straps it comes with, I did add about 4 more.

Water resistant up to 3 min in rain. Not waterproof. This is good for like one use 3 hour up, 3 hours back and its already tearing. Also to note. This needs crank straps like from home depot if you don't have a roof rail rack. No instructions , comes with ultra crazy complicated looking cargo net for roof racks. Didn't seem to be for non roof rack setup (hence the need crank straps) But who knows as it comes with no instructions.

Very nice product, travelled 800 km at a stretch maximum by 120 km speed.stable, durable products. Highly recommend for travelers.
