Tastes like wine, but not for me
It tastes sour and comes with a very strong astringent tannin and alcohol flavor. It can probably work for those who enjoy red wine… I am not a fan of drinking.Maybe I’ll try Peru next time.

Rich, Intense, nice texture, good flavour profile if consumed after a meal and not before haha.
This was really, really good.The price has gone up by £1.30 though (from £5.00 to £6.30, i also got a 25p discount lol so it was £4.75 just the other day) so i'm gunna see what else there is but this is a fantastic chocolate bar - VERY strong, i tried having some before breaking my fast in the morning to fully appreciate its strength and the caffeine/theobromine effects - wasn't a fan today, then after i had a meal it went down a treat! I also melted it (some) ready for baking with and the taste and texture of it when melted is INCREDIBLE. Somehow enhanced ;PGunna use it in fudge brownies today :) which is why i was coming to order some more - i still have a bar left it comes in two pieces on top of one another, they're thin, and its great - doesn't overwhelm with rich thickness (which could be overpowering with the intensity of this delicious 100% chocolate - btw its VERY bitter, try it after a meal when you're body has been satiated if you find it too bitter lol)Good texture, not quite having a typical tempered snap but a little bit more soft. At least how i found it. the bars pieces snapped as i handled it in the lovely packaging though so they're quite tender, not a problem because its to be eaten so it doesn't need to be in a full piece - though i'm sure it did arrive in tact! :D - used scissors to ope nthe packaging, it comes in a lovely cardboard envelope/box with sealed interior containing the two bars of chocolate that are separate from one another to keep fresh :)Thanks Venchi for creating such a lovely chocolate bar! Perhaps there is a multipack option to buy? i will check and see! =D
